Introduction

Arabella, full name Z'arabella, The Flame Maiden or The Empress of the Flames, originates from a world called Hyendar. It's mostly populated by Draconic Sphinxes of different kinds, and any other creatures that are just capable of living there. There's many different realms consisting of different elements, her stomping grounds being the Fire Realm, real name being Irodo. She inherited the throne, as she was born into the Fire Realm's royal bloodline. She now rules over Irodo, how well though... There may be many different opinions on that, as she isn't very benevolent. Arabella has now managed to find her way into The Endless Forest, and often spends time there, her preferred spots being the ruins and the playground.


Core

At first glance Arabella is very tough, intimidating, maybe even unapproachable, as she is usually just giving a cold shoulder for any strangers she meets, and often even to those who she already knows. If not that, then she's just indifferent and just tolerates their presence. That is, unless you somehow manage to melt her stone heart, which would be quite a feat.

After some events during her childhood, she put up her walls and hasn't taken them down since. Deep, deep down she is very soft and vulnerable. She has lots of trouble showing any emotions, especially the genuine, very strong ones. She hates showing any kind of weakness, and tries her hardest to keep those hidden at all times. If you ever see her cry, no you didn't.

Arabella is very quick to anger. She is short tempered and impulsive, she doesn't really think things through when she is only seeing red. Usually though, she is actually pretty rational and doesn't put herself in situations she knows she can't win. The problem is, she's a bit too confident and overestimates herself sometimes, which can get her in trouble despite trying to think smart.

She can be kind of moody and difficult to deal with at times, very argumentative and has to always have the last word. She is extremely competitive and enjoys challenging others, very daring and has the need to always be in control. Hates uncertainty and wants to protect herself by controlling herself and others. Can be quite sassy and loves to tease when in the mood, and just generally enjoys toying with others, she gets some sort of twisted pleasure from it.

A bit sadistic and possessive. Can be jealous too, if she actually ends up liking someone's presence. She will be very difficult to have any sort of a meaningful relationship with, but if you do, it will be very rewarding in a way, as she would burn the world for those she actually loves and defend them to her last breath. She would never admit any of that out loud though, in her mind actions speak louder than words.

- Doesn't really use any shortened words or ways of saying things, very formal speech.

- Very sing-song speech pattern. Often sounds like she's either mocking or flirting.

- Can live for thousands of years, so her being 109 years is quite young, and is considered as an young adult.

- Often spews fire on the ground, making a warm bed for herself to lay down in.

- Makes very dragon-like sounds, different sorts of rumbles, growls and screeches, and even purring.

- Most of her jewelries are gifts from her mother, from when she was very young.

- Cannot swim and is afraid of water.

- Hoarder, loves anything shiny and brings anything she finds to her nest or decorates herself with them.

- Has a surprisingly soft spot for children.

- Actually very good at singing, but would never sing in front of anyone.

- Secretly wants friends and maybe even a mate, but is afraid of messing everything up.

- In her humanoid form, doesn't wear clothes, rather, uses jewelry as her clothing. Also, most of the clothes would just burn.

- Sense of touch isn't as sensitive in her scaly areas.

- Body temperature is naturally very high, and tends to burn even hotter when experiencing intense emotions. Due to this, her blood is also scorching hot.

- Touch starved and touch avoidant at the same time.

- Does not have to eat often, and when she does, she prefers some larger prey. She has a very slow metabolism.

- Reproductive system comparable to reptiles and monotremes; lays eggs instead of live young, but is also able to produce milk.

Abilities

Fire Breath
The basic ability any fire dragon has. Can breathe fire, it's very powerful and able to burn everything to crisp in around 17 meter radius. She can't do it all the time though, she has to recharge and regenerate her flame sac in her body, and it takes longer in other worlds other than her own realm, as it's not nearly as hot anywhere else.

Flame Hands
Is able to focus her mind to use the fire from inside her to manifest from her hands. Not nearly as powerful as her Fire Breath, and she doesn't usually use it in combat at all, it's just useful for something such as melting things or warming something up in general.



Combat

Arabella is quite a formidable opponent, but definitely not invincible, even if she tends to overestimate her powers and try to be very intimidating.

Quite average stats for a Draconic Sphinx. Her attack is her strongest suit, speed and defense not so much, not to mention her stealth.

Relentless when attacking, especially when enraged, doesn't really let up and tends to burn herself out fast if she's not able to win before that.

Uses her fire abilities when in combat, but they're very limited, especially in any other world than her own.

Overusing her fire powers in realms other than her own tire her out pretty quickly.

Very intelligent and definitely knows when to retreat, but often overstays despite that because of her pride.

Having wings, she has an aerial advantage, unless cornered in thick woods or otherwise very closed spaces.
