Don't you just hate when people do this?

They have a small group, maybe of two. They play with each other, spam, whatever. And here you come- They act all shy and run off. NOt all deer do this, but Come on peoplez. Make a new friend or two. It just gets really annoying.

You mean my Riptail, the one who was sleeping by the pond with skull mask, magpie feathers and golden pelt? I thought you were using him to get pelts, but I accidentally made him wake up even thought I was about to take a screenie. >__>
Rippy is a shy boy, he doesn't come along with groups.

So I'm not sure if it even was you who were there, just wanting to make it sure.

I haven't met riptail, but I know he's timid. I don't mind. But those other deer know you want to play with them *bowing, noding, etc.* and BOOM! There off. Each time you approach one.

And see, I feel the opposite. My deer has a rather distinct reputation of being, I dunno, terrifying and I can admit that I would take immense pleasure at the sight of deer scattering like cockroaches at a beam of light the second he approached.

Some deer/players just like

Some deer/players just like excluding others. I know you're not supposed to take anything personally while in the forest, but some players don't seem to understand that not everyone has read their deer's bio and knows what their characters are like, or what their current role play is about, so they don't give any leeway for strangers :/

Go find someone worth your time and friendship to frolic with ^_^

I don't really think

I don't really think exclusion is so much the issue as it is just staying in character... but that's just me.
I know I have a chronically loner stag, who can be easilly made skittish... but he does try to be social around smaller groups... but I also have a doe who sees things is a 'the more around, the better!' perspective. XD Balances out.
And of corse the one evil deer who is quite fickle about who he likes or doesn't. XD But that's just character, and I do restrain him around those I don't think know him. |D (like he doesn't attack fawns, nameless, most deer in general (unless OK'd first) even if he's supposed to be like... a demon. XD

Zergarikiaka: Exactly. It's

Zergarikiaka: Exactly. It's not personal at all: Bylah's just a deer who has zero use for other deer. Sure, he'll let people get within a particular distance of him, but there's a rather strong personal bubble around him and once people get in it, he either tries to scare them off, of leaves.

Perfectly put, he thrives best hermit-style.

ME, ON THE OTHER HAND, I'M A GOOBER. AND I'LL TALK TO ANYONE.
