IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ME ::

There is very little that is unique about Jared's appearance. He has a small (#19), somewhat skinny build, though his legs are long, powerful and enable him to run extremely fast.

His pelt is short and smooth save for around his shoulders, where it ruffles somewhat. The fur is golden-tan in colour, with various stripes and streaks of dark brown; specifically on the legs, with multiple rings of dark brown travelling halfway up each leg. A dark brown stripe also runs from the centre of his forehead, down his neck and along his spine to the tip of his tail.

Jared's tail is not unlike a zebra's, with a tuft of chestnut-brown hair on the end, soft and curled. His antlers are a dark brownish-grey; two sharp prongs that protrude from his skull and are somewhat effective in battle, though no match for larger, more powerful antlers. He is built for speed rather than strength.

The buck's face is human rather than cervine, with soft features. He is not overly feminine, but is not particularly masculine either. Golden-brown eyes are slightly doe-like and long-lashed, with somewhat thin lips and a fairly straight nose. He is not pale; slightly olive-tanned if anything. Jared may be drawn with wavy, almost-chin-length chestnut-brown hair.

I TEND TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS ::

Although once known as a very shy, fearful stag, Jared has long grown out of his paranoid ways. He is still somewhat shy and will not approach large groups, but is much more welcoming to strangers than he used to be and no longer cowers away from every deer he meets unless he has reason to feel uncomfortable around them.

Jared is a considerate creature; he tends to think of others before himself and is usually quite generous. Sometimes he isn't so sure about risking too much for others, though. He does however enjoy people-pleasing from time to time and as a result frequently buys/creates gifts for his friends, even if he has only known them a short amount of time.

He tends to think of himself as a coward and is prone to periods of self-depreciation which may make him come off as whiny or annoying to others. Aware of this, Jared will keep to himself during these phases, though this does tend to make them worse.

The gazelle may come off as somewhat off-standish to some, perhaps even uptight or proud. He has been known to make it very clear when he dislikes someone, and if pushed too far can turn downright nasty towards them - though it is only ever verbal. An eavedropper and hoarder of information, Jared will use his knowledge of others to tear them down if need be.

Intimidating Jared is not difficult to do, however, and occassionally he does need to be put in his place. Given that he is much more 'bitchy' towards those younger or weaker than him - or females - due to certain prejudices, stags are the most likely to subdue him.

Jared is easily guilt-tripped, however, and although he may snap at close ones, it's very likely he'll come crawling back for forgiveness - a pushover when it comes down to it. He does trust far too easily and can be somewhat naive at times.
