Diary of Ferin "The Cursed Samurai"- entry 1

"Another peaceful day.. Thank you for the company."

Ferin awoke today as all other days. The smell of the foliage and the song of birds slowly eased him out of his dreams. He stood up and stretched his limbs. He heard the calls of other deer and went out to greet them all.

For a while he kept his ears out for certain deer he had met. He tried to search for Prisca, but found her nowhere. He thought a moment about his first encounter with the stag hating Doe. He thought she would not even listen to him speak. Yet she did. For this he was glad. The other deer he tried to search for was Flail. He found her and frolicked with her for a time.

After some time she saw a few others and ran from sight before he could stop her. He sighed to himself laughing somewhat. She reminded him so much of Ayanel. He then trotted off to her direction. "Do not be afraid young one." he spoke gently as to try and coax her. She nuzzled him understanding it seemed but was still weary. He continued to play with her some more quite enjoying his time. After some time of playing he had strayed somewhat and looked back to see her playing with another deer.

He smiled to himself. "There you go.. see... not so hard, young one." he said to himself as he moved off to go and rest in his usual spot at the ruins. He lay there for sometime. He tried to search for Riza a moment but did not find her and he just drifted off to sleep. After some time he awoke and went out to greet more deer he had felt enter the forest. He went back to the ruins and had just gotten comfortable when he saw Riza. "Ah... There you are, my dear.", he smiled bowing to her and nuzzling her cheek.

He frolicked with her then sat and rested in his spot. He relaxed for some time then stood up. She followed along and they frolicked until they got to the pond of changing. Here they turned into some creatures. After they where done with that he decided to open up to her and showed her his more relaxed fun side. She seemed to enjoy it. He then thought to himself "If I had sake then she would see how embarrassing I could be" he was actually glad he didn't.

He remembered one time when he was human and he gotten himself so drunk that he began to dance on a table while singing an old Japanese folk song. He shook the memories from his head, laughing to himself. After some time of playing he remembered a spot where he loved to go and relax. He lead her there.

Blue flowers grew all along this encircled patch of trees the green of there leaves vibrant. He frolicked for a time before he tiered himself. He smiled and laughed seeing Riza's green pelt disappear into the grass camouflaged completely. After some more frolicking he thought it was time to leave. He bowed to Riza and spoke softly "Thank you for your company. I quite enjoyed my time with you." She seemed sad to see him leave and he nuzzled her once before leaving. As he walked off back to his home at the ruins he thought about the other deer he had met. "Ferin, you need to remember their names.", he laughed to himself, "How will you enjoy there company if you do not know there names?" He laughed to himself as he lay in his usual spot. He rested and fell asleep hoping to meet more deer tomorrow.
