"I... will fight for what is right... no matter the consequences."
This day started out calm for me. Not much occurred. I walked calmly greeting people as I always had. The birds chirping above. The sounds of the river calming to my spirit. I followed it for a time until I came to the lake. I then lay before the lake smelling the aromas of the forest. The scent of many deer wafted to my nose. I continued to lay there motionless for a time. After some time passed I stood up and picked up the scent of my 2 newest friends.
I moved swiftly through the forest and leapt into view of them laughing softly.
"Good day Riza, Flail!", I had said greeting them both with bows and nuzzles. They greeted me also with nuzzles and a bow. I then played and frolicked with them for a time, at times embarrassing myself. I had acted quite silly just so I could see them smile. After a time Riza had to leave. I bowed and said my goodbyes then continued to play with Flail.
After some time we went off towards the ruins when I heard the sounds of someone angry speaking. I looked over and saw a group of deer fending off another in white. The white deer seemed to be bothering the group. I could not stop myself and went to investigate. The worst thing I wanted to see where deer fighting over something they could have avoided. It was until I had gotten there that I realized how serious the situation was.
It seemed that the white deer was somehow bothering the others very much. They warned him off but he kept on coming. I looked to make sure Flail was in a safe area and I went in to try and question his motives. He ignored me and went on pestering them. One of the Doe's got angry and reared at him warning him off. To my surprise he reared back. Now I could not stand for that. I moved in and stood in front of her but he seemed to not care and went around me to continue pestering the group. He continued this for a time until I could not stand it anymore. I let a little of my rage get the best of me, my antlers transforming.
They had become much larger and I demanded him to back off lowering my antlers angrily. This seemed to scare him off for a few minutes. After which he came back to continue what he was doing. Again I let my anger control me as my face changed into that of a monstrous skull. I roared at him angrily this time hitting him with my antlers. He tried to fight back but I fended him off more. After a time he retreated.
He kept trying to bother them but ran every time I got close to him. As time passed he seemed to tire of this game and went off. I chased him a while then stopped and went back towards Flail. I nuzzled her and felt ashamed of my appearance as it had not turned back to its normal shape. I thought it would be over until I saw Flail suddenly cower in fear.
I turned to see the white deer before me. Taunting me. I warned him off but he seemed eager to anger me. I then reared at him. He backed off only to suddenly run past me and towards Flail. On the deer coming for her she ran out of sight. I ran after her the white deer chasing her as well. I tried to fend him off a few times.
Only to have him run past me and at her. At some time I saw Demon appear. A deer that Ayanel had told me much about. He helped me fend him off and I was glad for it. Yet it seemed the deer was intent on hurting Flail. I was getting angrier by the minute. This deer was playing with fire. I knew if this continued there would be big problems. We kept at it for a time. Another deer had gotten into view at one moment and mistook my rearing to be directed towards him. I tried to apologize when the white deer came after Flail again. I reared again this time he ran from me. I looked up and laughed as I saw Flail had gotten herself high enough where he could not reach. I looked as he stalked off seemingly angry at her cleverness.
After he had gone I nodded to my friend thinking it would be safe. I was wrong. Before I could even give her a warning to run the white deer was on top of her again bothering her and seemingly wanting to harm her. I then saw her run out of the forest in fear. I had it then. Anger boiled inside me and I went after this white deer with all force. He fought back only to have me at him at every corner. He then ran but I followed. I would not let him escape me again.
I continued to fight and chase him until he cowered to me in fear apologizing. I decided I had done enough to him to let him know not to ever cross paths with me again. I then left him. I did not walk from that battle unscathed though. I had minor wounds but I knew I would recover. I walked off towards the ruins and fell asleep for a time. I awoke and found that I could pick up Flails scent.
I ran towards her to make sure my dear friend was alright. When she saw me I could tell she was in shock. My antlers and face where back to normal but the bruises on my pelt where a frightening sight. I nuzzled her and told her I was fine. I then relaxed with her for some time. As time passed I grew more weary. I then said my goodbye to her and Demon who seemed to be enjoying himself dancing with other deer. After this, I left them going on my way back to the ruins. To my resting spot so I could continue to recover and heal my wounds.
And I missed all that. DDDDD8
