Day 1 ::
January 8, 2011.

I woke up in a strange place, suddenly surrounded by familiar scents and noises. I get up, stretching my stiff legs that have been traveling.
I look ahead, noticing the pond that him and I used to splash in and play with frogs.
The red fawn, who I have not seen for many months. Suddenly, I feel sadness in my heart. I look around to see deer cuddling and couples. I look up at the sky, and call out to him.
Nothing.
It was my fault, of course. I led him. We slept together inside the tree and I left him, unsure I could go on with him any farther.

...

I traveled far that day I left, and rested in an unfamiliar place. I stayed there for many weeks, but I could find no deer there.
Nobody talked to me.
I walked on in that strange place. I came across several bulls who fought for me. As I watched them, I learned from them, and practiced to myself alone.
Alone.
I decided that the place was not for me, and began to make my way back to the forest...
The Endless Forest.
I realized that me leaving was much better for myself. I became stronger, even though I did not fight. I learned to fight.
As I returned to the forest, I had forgotten many moves, for I had not run into anymore deer. I fell asleep in a patch of purple flowers.

...

Now, here I am, sad. I am much taller than I was when I was last here. I was stronger, but had forgotten how to fight.
I turn around to see a bull who is limping. He looked badly injured. I tilt my head, wondering how this bull could be so badly injured and no prize?
It also looked as if he had been attack several times.
I approach him carefully, and he notices me. He seems friendly. I look up at his eyes, and they look sad yet fierce. I bow my head respectfully, letting him know I was no harm.
He seems to be interested, and sniffs me.
I sniff him back.
His name is Feyrbrand.
We played together, and then we came across a stone.
The...Crying Idol?
Is that what he said?
Yes, it is.
The stone was called the Crying Idol.
We ran through this...magical stone, our coat turning to a bright red.
Just like...him.
After we laughed at our red coats, I shook the coat off, and I was back to normal. We began to pace around the stone, and Feyrbrand told me a bull lived here. It was his throne.
He warned me to keep away...or I would be in the worst battle I would experience.
Frightened, we kept away from the stone. As he were taking sips by the pond, he had to leave. Another bull was calling to him. A fight, maybe? I didn't know. I bowed a goodbye to him, and saw him running off. He wasn't limping too much this time.
After I finish drinking, I am back where I awoke. The couples and deer are still there. I sigh quietly, and look up, noticing strange movement.
Then, off in the distance, I see a red bull.
Is...Is that him? I thought to myself. I approached him carefully, but he had already seen me. His ears perked, he looked startled, but with sweet eyes. He approached me, as well.
When we got closer, we sniffed. Such...familiar scent. I look up at him, and his eyes are happy. We nuzzle, and jump around, running around the forest together.
It was him. The red fawn.
But he was not a fawn anymore. He was much taller. His antlers tower over me, and his red pelt was brighter than ever. He had on a black-and-white bird mask.
We walked together around the forest, and I learn his name. He might have told me previously, but I didn't remember.
Makime.
Makime.
I repeated the single word several times in my head. I would remember it. Cherish it.
We walk together, our pelts brushing. I was so glad to see him again.
As we continued to walk along, I noticed Makime's eyes widen, and I look ahead.
There were deer...
so many of them.
And two of them fighting.
I blinked, looking over at Makime. I was confused. Hadn't he seen two deer fighting before? Then, I realized he wasn't sad because of the fight.
His friend was fighting.
I saw his feet treading on the ground impatiently, as if he wanted to go over and try to stop the fight.
And that's exactly what he did.
I tried stopping him... I didn't want him to get hurt, but it was too late, and I could already tell it would be hard to stop him by then.
He tried getting in between them, making noises and shaking his head a lot. Soon, lots of other deer began to gather around, all looking at the red bull who tried to stop this...fight.
He looked over at me, with sad eyes. Pleading. I understood what he meant, and I went to the other side of him. The two began to slowly stop fighting, and parted ways. Makime went over to his friend, trying to tell her to stop.
Geisha
That was her name. I went over to her, shaking my head calmly. Her eyes were fixed on the doe, though. Her eyes were fierce. She wasn't done with this deer.
Without warning, she ran around me and Makime, and attack the doe once again, the sound of clashing antlers and painful moos were made.
I couldn't take the noise. I closed me eyes, and heard Makime once again trying to separate. It was obvious that the other doe was winning, for it seemed that Geisha didn't give off damage very easily.
The clashing of antlers seemed to die. I open my eyes, and see the two have separated once more. Both deer are limping, but it seemed to be that the fight was finally over. I walked over to the doe, who looked tired. I shook my head slowly at her, stomping my hoof gently onto the ground. She nodded, understanding, then walked off.
I looked over, watching as Makime tried to comfort Geisha.
I ran over to them, and walked with them.

The doe...she got into another fight...
With another deer.
A bull this time.
The fight ended shortly, though, thank goodness.
Makime and I headed over to a patch of purple flowers, and laid down there.
We cuddled up next to each other, to keep warm.
Geisha came over later. Makime moved over and Geisha came over, laying down in between us.

I closed my eyes...
I was tired...
Very sleepy.
Good night, my dear Makime and Geisha.
