Blood dribbled from a caked flank, deep wounds breathing as the beast limped and stumbled in to the heart of the birch. His destination just had to be at the highest point in the forest, didn't it? But the spring at De Drinkplaatz had the purest water in the forest. Iphea would use it to clean the wounds that Kalahan had dealt him. His right rear-flank seared, but no longer did it bleed.

The stag was very weary by the time he reached the top of the hill, the trail of blood he left behind glistening in the sunlight. The stag passed through the blue fog, his pelt slipping off to reveal one of the nameless' coats. Iphea ambled to the spring, feeling its gentle water lap at his hooves. The stag inhaled sharply before sticking his side underneath the water. A groan, low and shaking with pain, rumbled over the birch. He cursed the Child of Man in under shaking breaths as he watched the blood and dirt disappear in to the water in puffs of sparkling magic. There he stood, the water burning and cleansing the wound, until the blood stopped and the water ran clear. At this opportunity, the stag drank some of the healing waters and ate a few succulent blueberries that grew nearby, as well as sampling the dark green leaves of a nearby vine, of which he found the most cravable and delicious due to their high-iron properties.

The stag lay down just outside the circle of mushrooms, relaxing his jaw, also damaged by Kalahan's attack. It was healing slowly, not very much in damage in comparison to the gashes that burned his flank.

Does anyone have tips on how to create a good ref sheet?

I would like the NOH pelt on her, if anyone wouldn't mind getting it. She is at the Playground in front of the big boulder, wearing the whistler mask and gold butterfly antlers. Please let her know you are going to spell her by bowing to her, as she is scared of spells.

How do you insert your deer's pictogram in to your writing?

I would like my Setless's name to be just his pictogram. I would also like to be able to insert it in to my writing as such, not just a link but the actual little pictogram. I've seen it before and wonder how you do it?

Example (Pictogram replaced by an asterisk*)

* woke up this morning, and stretched. He peered around and looked for his friends. "*!" Exclaimed his friend, trotting over. "You're a sleepyhead, *! Get up and come play with us!"

Deer surrounded me. Forest Deer.

Solidly, my Iphea was at my back, curled protectively close.
Mi, my developmental doe, was in front of my lower-legs, warming my feet.
Unduetu was curled in the crook of my legs.
The Setless was wary, but he lay close, forehead nearly touching mine if it were not for his antlers.

Sadly, there was room for one more. Only he was not in my bed last night, but in his own, in his room, and my characters knew that. They kept me company all night so that I did not think of my bed as being big and lonely without my Fiance. I have slept in his bed for the past near-week because I have been having trouble sleeping.

I guess sometimes your characters can comfort you in odd ways. Maybe it was my half-conscious state, a dream in there, but it was so worth it.

I feel as if I can never KEEP a character. I want to only have 2 characters, one Doe and one Buck. I love Unduetu as well, but I am on the fence with her.

I hate that my ideas just COME OUT in to characters that only stay for one or two days before dying again. It's hard to keep from making so many of them. I think on this site I have made around 30 and only ever kept a couple for more than a month. Yeah, I have a buttload of pictograms at my disposal.

I really have been trying very hard to develop a doe character. I really want one. I want one that will stick and stay, and I have been trying so hard to develop someone beautiful and natural in appearance. Someone that I want to draw as much as I want to draw Iphea. The does I have made in the past keep trying to mesh, but that only gives me a headache and a heartache that they can't make someone for me.

Otherwise, I wish I could just play a deer with no set, but I am worried people won't realize I am not a newbie and will try to spam me like they used to when I played my "just pelted" deer. -.- I really like the naked pelt. It seems natural and beautiful.

Oh I have no courage... >.< Doe or Setless? Both? I can deal with three characters. In fact, that would be more than perfectly fine with me to have three.

But should I just scrap Unduetu like the rest? She's beginning to get some publicity... I know you aren't supposed to play characters you don't love, though.... -.- I am at such a loss. Any advice from anyone? /smallwalloftext
