Deer Customization???

It's my second day having the game. It seems extremely fun so far, but i'm realizing how different all the other deer look. They have unique patterns, like one I saw that had tiger stripes, and another that was like a cow. Some of the deer have differently structured antlers and even faces. Is it something i can personalize on my own deer? If so, how? If not, how do those deer get to look so cool? XD

I can help you choose what

I can help you choose what colours you'd like and I'll use the magic on you if that is what you want. The best thing to do is to stand next to a sleeping deer/tree with mushrooms/pine tree and "call" for someone to come over. Then tap your hoof and bow.... or even use the spell on someone else. Normally they will get the message.

However it is important to note that fawns can't carry the magic for a long time. You can save your current deer appearance after having a colour change but eventually it will disappear even after you have saved it. You'll just have to keep loading "Previous deer appearance" to get your colours back if you saved it beforehand. Yes.. it's a little tedious.

How can you tell where a pine

How can you tell where a pine tree is? I mean when i zoom up the view goes up a little but the trees are really tall. Also, How can you choose what colors and colors for which spells? And how do you keep the spells?

The best indication your deer

The best indication your deer is standing near a pine tree is the appearance of a new action in the actions menu, it looks like a deer rubbing on a tree and when clicked your deer will do such causing a pinecone to fall to the ground. A new 'eat' action is then pressed and when the cone is eaten your deer will be able to cast a random antler spell on another deer. Once you've found your first pine tree, have a look at what the trunk looks like so you can recognize them in the future.

All spells casting in TEF is random, so it can take a few tries (or a lot depending on your luck) before you get the one you want. Keeping spells happens automatically when your deer is an adult. Until then, fawns will lose most spells (with the exception of flowers you can pick up yourself) and are unable to wear them. The concept behind that is that fawns are inexperienced with forest magic.

When does my fawn mature? How long does it take? This is my 3rd day with the game, if that helps.

Fawns grow up after 30 or so

Fawns grow up after 30 or so days since the moment of registration. Sometimes it is precise to the minute, other times there may be a day's delay, but until then you have a whole month to play and explore as a fawn. Smiling
