I know, like I should totally understand how to make these work on here by now but I'm like.. struggling to find a place to upload the css and/or font files for tefc? Either that OR I'm completely misunderstanding how to set this up sobs. I was under the assumption dropbox links were dead, but some of my music links are working so... would the font files (etc) still work???? THEY doo cool, okay so it's not that.
I bet it's like super easy, and I'm just way too tired but regardless if you wanna throw in some advice... hmu
hmmm, that didn't seem to work either, I think it might be my links or maybe how I'm uploading them.... ;; I'm using front squirrel to get the font kit, is there another place people use to get woff files? :0
EDIT. I FIGURED IT OUT? KIND OF? the font squirrel woff files just straight up didnt work for whatever reason??? but i downloaded the ttf and converted it to woff myself and now it works fine so.... ?? weird. i guess i won't use font squirrel anymore pff.
It's still odd how font squirrel files don't work... Perhaps something went wrong in the download or just... all the woff files don't work. Either way ya can't do much about it :/
yeee i usually use google fonts, since its so damn easy, but i wanted a suuuuuuuper specific font and was willing to put myself through all this pain for it sobs
Hmm I get this problem with certain fonts. Sometimes they work right off the bat, sometimes you need to tweak them, sometimes it's impossible for SOME REASON lmao.
I'll take a look at this code and see if I can get it to work, tho if you can't I doubt I can. :/
edit: There is no woff2. Did you get one from converting it from Fontsquirrel? o:
AND like Evern said, it should come with a .woff2 and a .woff file, since you only have a .woff, that's more than likely why it's not working! I don't think TEFc is too friendly with just a .woff file, or it never has been in my experience ): Sometimes Fontsquirrel hiccups and messes up the files, but it's reliable more often than not - must've just been a bad DL!
I got it to work by converting my own WOFF file from a TTF from a preexisting font one my machine. I set it up like this, and so far it's been working fine with only the WOFF :0
I tried with another font squrriel woff and it did the same thing (not work), though neither of them came with woff2 so maybe font squrriel fonts require that woff2 and these were older/just didn't have the right files hmmm.
INTERESTING, may just have to do with the more fine-grain fonts people make on dafont needing a .woff and a .woff2 to work! The one you can't get to work (IF THAT'S STILL A THING..) might be an example of that.. I dunno ):
AS FOR FONTSQUIRREL, if you're selecting 'optimal' and it's not giving you a .woff2, go to 'expert' and try to check .woff and .woff2, and that should do the trick. ♥
Dropbox links still work!!
do you have the () text
@cissy AAaa good, thank god i
AAaa good, thank god i was struggling to find another free alternative sobs
