To look into your eyes was to get lost,
to float more deliciously than in the ocean.
Your eyes were overflowing with the soul,
it was as if there was too much soul for your slim body.

The music was so beautiful *sniff sniff* Mishka sat with 'Baby for a while, and he really appreciated it when he lost sight of Crybaby due to screen issues, and he came back to sit with him. Thanks! Mishka doesn't see a lot of minis, so he feels more at home nearby them. I hope to see 'Baby again !
A soft chuckle left Texas as he could see that the little white one was still sleepy. He nipped Cry's ear in affection and then leaned his head down to his front legs again still having his gaze on the white one.
"You are neither affraid of me, nor offended by my doings." the bony creature stated after the buck sat down next to him again... surprise and curiousity swung in his voice.
"Mh... why should I be afraid of you? I never saw you do anything bad really... well, you don't really hurt anyone." the small buck has never really been afraid of others by their looks either, only of their actions. "You don't really seem scary..." the white one chuckled shyly and lowered his gaze.
The creature tilted his head slightly.
An interesting view. The little buck started to gain colors for him.
"You are different from the other worthless." He replied, the shadows around him slowly weaving towards the smaller one, feeling... observing... "Interesting... most of them... would rather fight me, for taking away from them for what they don't care anyways... but you... you are different."
"The other... worthless?" the small one frowned slightly and gulped some while he watched the shadows approach him. But he didn't move for a moment and soon relaxed again.
"You mean because of the masks? Hm... but, they can get new ones anyway, can't they." he tilted his head.
"You're not bad, are you? You rather seem... lonely. Well it's what I.. observed..." Crybaby curiously watched the other one's skull-face, trying to detect something in those hollow eyeholes.
"loneley..." he repeated thoughtfull. This time his voice sounded like a whispered echo... like it was just a thought, and not an actual spoken word.
The shadows wove around the buck one... touched the small body for a brief moment... before they backed off again, flew back to their 'owner'.
"Yes they can." he suddenly spoke again. "That's the most wonderful magic of this forest... the only true magic. It is able to create this beauty over and over again. It doesn't manipulate what's already there... it creates. And I will save those precious creations from them over and over again... it is somehow... an eternal circle." he remained silent for a moment. "No. I am not bad. I just protect the most precious things of this forest... for which no one else seem to care."
He lowered his gaze down to the shadows, watching them curiously till they disappeared. They didn't hurt or something, but they only made the curiousness grow.
The small buck pricked up his ears when the other one started speaking. He smiled at his words. "Don't they? Are you sure?" he let his gaze wander around "I think they do care... but maybe they just forget about the wonders of the forest from time to time." the buck moved closer, just a bit.
"Though they are all wonders of the forest, you too... ain't I right?" he grinned widely. "You're the guardian of the masks.." he let his gaze swift over the masks which were hanging from the solid antlers.

I hope you do not mind me setting the scene, then?
A young deer, seemingly of shadow, settles down to relax in a violet hyacinth patch, dull in the low light of night, but shimmering with the silvery-white sheen of the moon, and lies looking on at a single firefly flickering its light on-and-off; the deer's chest is heaving as though with some exertion, and its body is looking as though it is trying to melt into the darkness, but with little results at the moment.
A different sort of movement catches its attention, and soon its eyes are on something else: another deer, one in the distance, stark white and small of antler, with a silencing mask such as its own. Its ears perk in interest as it watches the other deer, a deer that appears familiar...has it seen this one in the forest before? Curiosity piqued by just this one fact, the young deer whistles through the mask, hoping to call this other over to it.
The small, white one slacks his pace when he suddenly hears a nearby whistle. He curiously whistles too and lets his gaze wander around to see where it came from. He first almost couldn't see the other one, -it seemed like a shadow in the dark of the night- approaches... and eventually spots the young deer in the patch. "... hello?" he almost whispers.
The shadowy deer sets its head down and looks up between the flowers at the white deer, gaining a new perspective of the small one, while also giving itself the appearance of being small, weak or fragile, and not at all meaning any harm.
"Hello," it says in repetition, echoing the other deer's tone of voice. "?" it says, and pauses in thought. "Uoy...who...uoy?" Eyes, dark and deep as twin black holes, peer out at the deer with genuine interest, but with a lack of understanding as its eyes gaze upon the white one, whose being there it seems not to fully believe.
[[ For reference: "uoy" is "you" spelled backwards; language is sometimes reversed or even jumbled. ]]
The white buck tilts his head at the deer's doing. Was it afraid?
"Huh?" he looks at it's deep, black eyes, seeing nothing. "Who I am? I'm... Crybaby.." he murmurs, lowering his head to shyly sniff at the deer. What an odd way to talk.
"...Crybaby...," the young deer murmurs in response, giving a short sniff back before pulling sharply away, as if it has been stung. It shakes its head and gazes at Crybaby with empty eyes, its ears fallen against its cheeks. "Ohw-who...am I?" It speaks slowly, carefully pronouncing the one-syllable words. "I...am." It stops there, and for a moment its shadowed face appears to blanch, then blush. It looks down, away, and behind, before its eyes settle upon the single firefly that has stuck so far to these hyacinth flowers. It whispers, "I am." It is not certain.
Crybaby winces at the sudden movement. He takes a step back but still watches the deer curiously.
He tilts his head again while observing it's face, trying to look at the dark eyes and draw it's attention. "Yes.. yes you are. But... do you have a name?" he asks slowly so it would be able to understand him fully.
"Oh...name...." It murmurs almost sadly. Then it begins saying quietly, "Eman...seman...names...name. sseleman...nameless...unnamed...demannu. A eman I evah? ...? ??" it says, trailing off and lapsing into silence. It looks questioningly at Crybaby, as though he holds the answer to what may be an unspoken question.

Well he couldn't remember his own real name, wasn't the same but maybe a bit similar.
"How can I call you then?" he wondered with a gentle smile, approaching a bit, carefully nuzzling the deer before he slowly sat down close to it.
