It's basicly where a bunch of

It's basicly where a bunch of people have signed up to have a week for their charachter to be the subject, of art, from all of the other participants. (:
The charachters are chosen at random by me, and each week, anyone who has turned in all of their art, is eligible for their own week. (:

I think the next Fanart-a-thon will work slightly differently. Since this one is the first time it's been done, and there are a few kinks in it.

You are welcome to draw for this one, however signups were in September, so I can't let you -technically- join this one.

but if you stick around for a bit longer on the community site, I'm sure you can get in on the next fanart-a-thon that I host! (:

Doe - ^.^ some suggestions that may or may not be helpful but that came to mind... next time maybe we could make a list of the deer involved with clickable links to their reference images and post it along with each week's ~~victim~~ assignment? That way people would have the option to work on different deer ahead of time as the mood strikes them or as they have time, and then turn it in on the appropriate week?

... also maybe have a rule that people turn in their weekly assignment by posting it in both the fanart area as well as a link to it posted in the fanart-a-thon post each week, making it easier for you to look back at who has turned in that week's art, while also bumping up the announcement post so that those who missed it can spot it faster?

and also also; maybe limiting the number of people involved each time so that it doesn't become so overwhelming, and also doesn't take quite so long to get through the list so that new people who would like to participate don't have to wait quite so long?

I was actually thinking of sort of re-vamping the whole thing next time.
Making it more like a 'fanart theme' of the week. That way, anyone can be involved without having to sign up, and each week, everyone has the opertunity to draw for the person if they want to.

I don't know how much better that might work out though. Who knows...
