Hi :3
First of all: sorry if there are any mistakes in my writing, my english isn't the best XD°
So...I just joined this game yesterday and I'm still a little bit confused. I hope it's ok if I have some questions.
I read through the forum and all the introductions but what I still troubles me is the interaction between the users in the forest. So I figured out that a bow means "hello" (?) and that dancing is fun xD
But today another deer casted a spell on me and my fur went all white (only a short time but it was still beautiful X3) and I think I did the same to the fur of the other deer because its fur also turned white when i pressed a button (you see...I have totally NO idea what I a m doing xD°). But then it bowed and kept nooding at me and I was like "Ahhhh... I don't know what you want..did I do something wrong? Or was that ok?" I was so confused ;___;
So long story short: My question basically is: Are there some things which are considered as impolite? Because I really hate being impolite but right now I'm just a little fawn running around like crazy and being REALLY confused by all these amazing things XD

Hello and welcome :'D people
And that drawing in your icon, did you draw it? It's beautiful.
That's really relieving to
Yes I drew it myself, thanks a lot <3
Np :') and don't hesitate to
Welcome to the community
Hn I really like your icon too, makes me eager to see more of your art :3
Well, there is no real
From what you described, the nodding/bowing after casting it on them meant "Yes, thank you", but that is just how I would interpret that, someone else may think of it differently.
As far as doing something wrong, I personally don't think there is a 'wrong' way that could be considered rude. Again, it's all how others interpret things. Say if someone a deer is stomping the ground near a tree, I'll assume they either want a mask or antler spell, so I'll get that for them, whereas another deer may not do it for them because they have interpreted the actions differently. Not necessarily to be rude... but I hope that makes sense.
Welcome to TEF! It's really
You sound a lot how I did my first few days playing this game. xD I didn't know what meant what. I spent a lot of time reading biographies (specifically the ones that had "action guides" so I could learn which actions generally meant what) and studying this page.
Just remember;
1. The "fawn stage" is considered kind of a "newbie" stage--you could get away with pretty much anything. It's a great time for trying out different actions, or even just watching other deer.
2. A lot of the action in the forest is in-character. Even if it's not in-character, no one takes it very seriously--it's not like a chatroom or message board, where people are paying super close attention to every single thing you do. There's nothing you can do to other people that is going to seriously inconvenience or offend them.
3. Everyone's going to be nice to a fawn. If they aren't, just ignore them anyway because they're a crummy person. Or in character, but either way, just ignore them. xD
Even if they aren't "in character," there's still generally an agreement among all of us that what happens in the forest is NOT to be taken seriously. Don't worry about doing anything wrong, and just watch other people and do your best to learn the different actions and copy them! You can see which actions get different reactions from people; there's no right or wrong, and you're a cute little fawn, so you'd be surprised at how much you can get away with.
Welcome to the Forest! Don't
Don't worry about bothering anyone too much. We were all crazy fawns (or nameless) running around confused once.
Thanks a lot to everyone for
Being a fawn sounds quite convenient X3
And about posting art: I've seen some many amazing pictures already, I'm really inspired! So I definitely do that :3
