Christmas is around the corner. I am sure everyone knows this. There are so many things that can run through peoples mind. What present do I get. New Years Resolutions. A lot of things we think about, that sometimes we loose track of what the holidays are truly about. This song is meant to help you all remember what is truly important on the holidays. Whether it is family or your friends here on TEF. Just remember what is truly important.

Tryin' to buy that last gift or two, not really in the Christmas mood
Standing right in front of me was a little boy waiting anxiously

Christmas to me is a celebration of the year. We've all lived, struggled, and worked very hard, and by the end we get to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of the next. It is a time of generosity, peace, memories, and magic in my eyes.

Although it is the coldest season of the year, it is the warmest time for our hearts.

I think Christmas could be

I think Christmas could be (and should be) celebrated by anyone and everyone, regardless of their religious affiliation. Though it may be a tough tradition to get in to if you or your family doesn't celebrate it, it is such a beautiful time of the year when you can 'stock up' on that old Christmas magic of feeling like you're on the top of the world by giving things to people. This will sound cheesy, because it's been said so many times, but for me, the Spirit of Christmas can be found in every living thing when they give something that means something to them to another person. The reward is so much more than any gift you could get. Of course, that same spirit can be found year-round, but it's Christmas-time when people especially need it, or are more grateful for it than any other time of the year.

To me Christmas has always

To me Christmas has always been about Family and the love you share with others. A time of sharing and peace. A time of love and Joy. Even though I do not live with my family. Christmas feels like the one time when I feel we are all together in more ways then one.

The holidays have always been

The holidays have always been incredibly important to me. With my family being split (Mom is Jewish, dad isn't. I celebrate both holidays) it's always been about the general cheer and festiveness as opposed to the religious aspects. Getting along, spending time with friends and family, helping others, etc.

I'm the kind of person that goes running down the road wrapped in every holiday-themed thing available, belting out every carol I know, and making up the words to the ones I don't know. Celebrating with others, just the warmth of it all.

Oh god, I'm getting all warmfuzzy just from talking about it.
