~~~~~~Deer-RP~~~~~~
Redd
It was a lovely day in the forest.
The sunlight flitted down through the canopy, onto the calm, neutral frame of a young stag of slight bulk, laying by himself in a small ray of sunlight. He was peaceful, having just woken up from his usual spot between the two young trees in front of the Great Oak. He smiled serenely to himself, welcoming the new day, embracing it... no matter what might happen.
He sighed to himself.
"A-another day approaches..."
Raleigh
The white stag sighed.
The sun overhead was at its peak, blaring down upon his snowy coat unforgiving, like the very glare of the Twin Gods who had, on several occasions, attempted to show this very particular stag who was the boss.
He snorted a dry chuckle.
(Little do they know, I follow only one "boss")
Still, the sun was annoying him a great deal - a valid attempt by the two! - making him seek the shade, traversing through the woods, seeking some place calm, cool, shady and preferably slightly moist.
The playground would be a good place for that...
Crire
Music...
How he longed for it...
Even as the shadows grew long in the early dusk, the sun setting, bathing the forest and the old ruins in flames of orange and bright red, Crire could think of nothing but his beloved violin and how he was unable to play it as he was now.
Gritting razor-sharp teeth, he turned his head to the heavens, those burning, bleedin' heavens and let out a howl of rage and pain, directed at all those high-and-mighty angels who'd seen it fit to strip him of everything that was him.
He huffed as his outburst ended, standing petrified, neck and head hanging low, torn, useless wings quivering as not-quite-healed wounds started aching again.
"To hell with you... TO HELL WITH YOU ALL!" He bellowed, his voice full of rage and fury, carrying all over the until now so quiet forest...
Dorian Bucks
Trembling... Shaking...
There were so... so many!
All around him, drawing closer, hunting him...
The shadows he had experienced at Willowhill Asylum were still chasing him, keeping just at the edge of his sight, intangible, invisible, but still so terrifyingly close!
He bucked, lashing out with trembling hind-legs, hitting nothing, the wind rushing in the trees, the sound of hooves getting closer, a shadow past the full, round moon, something touched his leg!
Yelping, the purple stag jumped forward, running, fleeing... until clumsy hooves snagged on an exposed root, landing him face-first into the blue bowl.
There he stayed still, trembling, ears flat against his deformed head, working, yellow eye wide, staring into the closing darkness...
...
He was alone...
Or was he?...
Trixzie stuck her head up in
Through her skull mask hr eyes squinted in amusement and she drew in closer. "Tell me why do you fear so easily? You were frightened before I even fell upon you." Trixzie turned her back to him and made her way to the tree about two yards away. "Don't try to run away now, we don't want my dragon self slipping out of me again now do we?" She rubbed her side on it allowing her scent to spill upon the tree.
Jerking in fear and eyes
Giving a small whimper and following after her slowly, hesitantly, he kept his head low as he went. He posed no threat what so ever. He liked to emphasize this.
"Why wouldn't I? Being sc... careful has kept me alive so far... It's a good strategy." He said, not even fooling himself. He was a multi-phobic by nature, no way to change that. But it was true, it'd kept him alive so far... It had kept him fast and alive. He'd even grown to like his fear for this.
----------------edit-------------------
D'aww, thanks, z.m123! >w<
Trixzie turned her head to
"Anyways, fear only makes you weak and weakness is a sign for predators to attack you." She said, her voice once again menipulative and slow like. She smirked at his pose. "You don't hav to show you're a wimp yo know!" She declared unliking his posture at all. She walked up to him till she was standing infront of him.
"Keep your head high," she ordered, "the least you can do is act as if you have confidence." She said and turned away from him once again.
"Heh... confidence?... what's
But The tone she'd just used... It made him curious... there'd been something almost... caring about it...
frowning, he for once looked like he wasn't a nervous wreck.
"But... why do you care?..." he asked, sounding honest, even polite... like he actually cared too.
Trixzie, now standing back by
Trixzie once again walked over to him. "Your posture still needs to be better." She said impatently. "Irrect your ears and please make it atleast look like you're not scared." She let out a huff.
Quite astounded by her
"I'm kinda used to being picked on by now, actually... running usually works, though!..." he tried in his meagre defence, though he could already hear how much of a pussy that made him sound like... Why did he even care? It's not like this doe was ever gonna find him again once they parted, after all.
Though she probably could.
She probably would...
She was definitely gonna find him again...
Trixzie coudln't help but
And a reaction was exactly
Instantly, Dorian's eyes went from listlessly frightened to infuriated and strangely desperate, his posture improved as if by magic. He even managed to look just slightly threatening...
"I'm not a doe!!" He shrieked at her, unconvincing and shrill, though there was a rare fury in his mismatched eyes...
Trixzie let out another mrrra
"That's it!" She said happily, her eyes once again gleaming. "I'm sure you can do better, though." She said in her challenging voice again. "Come, come." She said, as she hopped over a log and into the bushes where it lead to a clearing. SHe didn't have to say 'don't run away,' she knew he'd follow, because if the male didn't he'd be quickly tracked down by her dragon self.
Realizing this as well,
His eyes were shooting lightning at her from their sunken-in sockets, fur standing on end, making him look close to reasonably-sized, even. He actually wasn't un-impressing when angered, at least compared to his normal, scared, little self.
Snorting and stomping the ground, he looked like he was ready to attack at any moment.
"Bring it, scaly." he sneered through gritted teeth. Wow, he was easy to piss off...
Trixzie couldnt resist
Still, Dorian stood still
"Hmph! Just bring it!" He hissed at the dragon-doe, for the moment having completely forgotten his numbing fear and common sense of not picking fights with supernatural beings.
"All right..." she said
"Come on, girlie," she threatoned, "attack me, that is, if you're not to doe to do it." She knew how badly this would anger him, and he needed that anger if he wanted to stick up for himself.
His heart nearly stopping at
It wasn't very powerful, but the speed and the hard bone ensured it was felt.
Trixzie let out a huff as the
She hoovered over the ground before setting the male down and landing herself. Her eyes were now gold again and the smoke was gone, as well as her wings being tucked in to herself again. "Now do you know what the rush of fighting is all about?" Trixzie asked, more curiously than tauntingly.
Though the sudden physical
He was trembling and gasping, having struggled to his feet as soon as he could, feeling like his entire body was over-run by poisonous spiders.
Shaking his head to clear it and swallowing with difficulty, he turned his gaze to Trixzie yet again, giving a small, dazed, almost shameful nod.
He'd fought before, no doubt, but the rush of rage was an uncommon thing for him... He was used to cold chills, not boiling blood, after all.
"Oh, what are you shaking
"There is nothing to feel bad about for attacking when you're taunted, but you should be feeling bad for all the times you allowed those stags get away with picking on you." She said, trying to show him the justice in his anger. "You see what you accomplished when you attacked me? Felt good when you got me back right?" SHe asked, nodding while she spoke she once again turned her back to him and trotted in a circle around him. This knd of action always got Trixzie riled up, and she was now in a playful mood.
Swallowing in between his
"Yeah... felt great... But I still lost. Fighting never solved anything... not for me..." he said in that streetwise Jersey-accent. He'd picked a bit too many fights he couldn't win... obviously, else how would he have ended in such a miserable physical state?...
"YOu don't lik being
Giving a belittled and
"But it's always been like that!... I can't fight, I never could... I always lose, no matter what..." he said, feeling his short burst of courage shrink away into nothing yet again, leaving him with nothing but a slightly numb forehead as he sneezed his helmet away.
It was good for protection, but too much in the way generally.
Trixzie knew what she had to
But what then occurred was
Giving a shrill scream at the sudden contact, Dorian kicked out powerfully with his hind legs, missing Trixzie by nary an inch, only to bolt to one side as fast as he could, heading for the blue bowl yet again, a place he could hide while running, at the very least.
Obviously, he didn't just "dislike" being touched.
He was genuine terrified if it.
And in an instance, he was out of sight.
Trixzie's gaze followed the
But terror had stripped the
Holy shit, I'm dead! I am so very dead!!... his thoughts raced as he sped across the forest floor, panic having gripped his heart long ago... until a thought made its way into his mind...
Maybe... just maybe the dragon wouldn't hurt him if he didn't run?... maybe she'd lay off if he surrendered... he might be able to explain it with a sudden panic-attack... after all, he wasn't used to being a deer, the instincts were a lot stronger than when he was a human...
Taking a deep breath as he ran out into a wide, open, unavoidable space... And just turned to face the dragon, standing still, looking scared as ever but determined. So very determined.
Now or never!...
(Idiot...) she thought to
Struggling just slightly as
But what Trixzie said worried him... He didn't quite know why, but it did.
"wait... 'just like you did?'..." he asked, sounding truly concerned... worried about the fuming dragon...
Trixzie snapped her head back
She blew out more smoke, and she added "You have to get deer, before they get you."
But Dorian just frowned...
"Hey... not everyone's like that... true, most peo... deer are, but there are still some... heh, some gullible idiots out there who actually care..." he said with a small chuckle, a rather sweet little smile on his face as he continued stepping closer.
Trixzie growled at Dorian,
Stopping for only one step at
"Hey..." He said carefully.
"You okay?..."
Trixzie squinted her eyes at
Feeling like he was flirting
"Yeah, good point..." he said in a tender voice, worry clear on his rather ugly face.
"I'm... I'm sorry I ran, y'know..." he said, not used to apologizing at all, at least not heart-felt... he might have gotten out of debt and rape a few times by excusing his own existence and the like, but this time... he really was sorry...
Trixzie's eyes were now gold
Giving a small chuckle,
"Because you don't wanna kill the only gullible idiot you know... -would be my guess." he said with a small chuckle... managing to give her side a friendly nudge with his cheek! Though it was quick. Very quick. And briefer than brief.
Trixzie nearly jumped when he
Looking down in deep thought,
"I... don't really know... Heh, I've fought for my life so many times and... I can't even remember them now..." He said, having vague flashes of horrid faces, metal and guns, insane laughter and blood everywhere... and... that... puppet... shivering, he tore himself back to reality.
"But I think..." a momentary blush rushed across his face.
"Fighting for my, eh... honour... was an important one..." Ah, yes. The only one he could clearly remember winning to date. It's incredible what a 16-year old boy can do when faced with an over-weight perv with a too-active sex-drive...
Trixzie shook her head,
Tilting his head, Dorian
"This keeps me safe enough, y'know... it's, uh... I think it's magical..." he said, looking a little insecure, whirring his head slightly. The thing looked old and arcane, alright, but on top of that, like it could fall apart if you stared at it too hard. Still, it HAD packed quite a punch...
Trixzie chuckled, "yeah looks
Leaving the poor fellow quite
"Uhm... I usually just, uh... y'know, make sure to face 'em and block 'em with this..." He said, looking about as awkward as he felt. He could hardly demonstrate it, as he mostly just improvised and the helmet did the rest... It was a good helmet. It knew him well and kept his head cool in the heat of battle.
Trixzie couldn't help but
Flinching slightly at the
"Alright... Eh, anything else?..." He asked, still slouching slightly, but trying his best to stand up straight. To his surprise, it actually took off some of the pressure on his exposed spinal chords, helping him relax slightly.
Trixzie veiwed his body, it
"What way do you put your body when your being attacked?" Trixzie asked, referring to if he just ran or if he actually did stay and fight. "What instincts do you have?" She added, knowing it'd probably be the flight instincts that many deer had.
Cay x Raleigh?
And true enough, after a
"Running away, of course!..." he said as if this was a given, as if it was unthinkable that he, of all deer, should stay and fight.
@Z.m123: Wait, what? XD
Rp lol xD
Trixzie smiled under her
"When you see someone like myself, the worst possible thing you could do is run away, because then you've triggered yourself in my mind as prey." She said nodding. "Do yu know what I mean by 'impervise?'" she asked. Her voice was now no longer a taunting slow voice, but rather a voice talking as if she was teaching an equal, which Trixzie hardly realized how she was talking.
@Z.m123: Oh, sure!
@Pepper: All the while Dorian was looking attentive and alert, his remaining ear standing up from sheer interest now, his under-nourished brain eager to suck in anything anyone could teach him.
"Uhm, study my opponent and find a good way to escape which doesn't involve pain?..." he said, which was generally his usual strategy. He might not have looked it, but Dorian was rather good at finding his opponent's weak spot. Years on the street had taught him well.
Small update. Might work on
