(not his actual birthday [I probably had him, or at least his picto, two or three years before this actual date] but this is the date that I began to figure out his character. So we'll just pretend it's his birthday, kay?)

Relatives
He considers Ialu his brother, though they are not blood relatives. He took care of Ialu when he was a fawn, and Ialu would always call him "big brother."

About
Chenaniah is like a fawn trapped in a stag's body. He is easily amused by the world around him, and loves to run, jump, dance, imagine he can fly, etc. However, it is VERY hard to get this playful interior to show. On the outside, he's shy, quiet, and reclusive, usually running from any other grown deer. He will only play with fawns and, of course, birds. He is OBSESSED with birds.

Chenan also has a pretty good singing voice and sings to himself, but only when no one is around as he tends to be self-conscious about it. He sings more than he talks.

Don't be surprised if Chenan takes a long time to respond. He seems to have to think about it before making an action. Sometimes he is completely lost in thought, as he is an avid daydreamer. Also, his people skills are horrible and he never even knows how to respond, or what to do after introductions are made. This, of course, causes him to become self-conscious and afraid. He's easily frightened when socialization is concerned.

Be glad if you even make it to introductions, because he's very scared of grown deer. He's absolutely terrified of large groups and the pond, for reasons covered in the diary entries (Chenan's story) seen below (particularly Dream and The Promise.) Because of this, he has locked himself up inside the Birch Forest and rarely ventures past it's borders.

Human Chenaniah

I haven't really put much thought into what Chenan would be like as a human, so forgive me. Just doing this because the idea intrigued me

Appearance:
- Stoic expression
* darkish, ruddy skin
- same blue grey eyes as seen in ref
* reddish brown curly hair
- Taller and skinnier than most men, but not overly so
* Gets cold easily, so wears sweaters a lot (probably even wears a scarf when outside)
- needs glasses to read

Behavior:
- Lives in a cabin in the mountains... alone
* birdwatcher
- If he's not outside (which he most of the time is), he's probably inside reading, playing the piano, or singing to himself or the birds
* Oh yeah... plays the piano

Chenaniah's awesome ^_^ Dovev wants to meet him in the forest again.
Dovev is quite afraid of big groups as well (two reasons: sometimes my computer can handle it, other times it doesn't, and he always feels awkward ^^)

Thanks! I'm still not very good at deer, but I'm trying! :]

Chenaniah is afraid of big groups because something happened when he was a fawn. It wasn't like... exceedingly horrible... but it still traumatized him because he's so sensitive. XD PLUS I DON'T LIKE BIG GROUPS EITHER. :/

Thanks! :] I'd love to meet Dovev again, too. He was an adorable fawn!
