Here's the deal, the Lighbringers need a logo or a symbol to represent them. This logo will appear on future Lightbringer Apparrel and items, a symbol that will let both the Forest, and the outside world know what we stand for!
I need help from all of you out there! Three things!
~A Symbol
~A Motto
~A background design
I'm planning on ordering a bunch of custom embroidered patches for the Lightbringers that will be available to purchase for a small price. I want now want all of you guys to help me design this patch! After all the entries and ideas are in at the end of this month, the winners of each of the three categories will be chosen. (The way the winners will be decided is still undecided)

SYMBOLS
The symbol is usually the centerpeice for a logo. It could be an item, an animal or anything! I would like this symbol to mean something to all of us, and this is where I need your help!
I have three default symbols to begin with:
~A Lit Candle
~A Flaming Oak Leaf
~The North Star (Kaoori)
~Oak Leaf with Gold Star on it (Seed)
~Deer with Light as Heart (Liight)
Any ideas?
MOTTOS
~"In caliginem, nos ferimus lux"
Literally: "Into the darkness, we bring light."
"In caliginem, nos ferimus luca"
Literally: "Into the darkness, we bring lights." (Seed)
~"The Light in our Hearts, Shines Brighter in the Dark." (Liight)
At the bottom of our Logo, I would like a motto! Something short, simple and to the point. Any ideas?
BACKGROUNDS
~Blue/Gray (Seed)

I'm looking for colors and patterns for a simple background. As well as a shape for the patch. Any ideas?
Right now, I want to gather up all of the ideas we have floating out there, before we decide on the winners, and which three entries will make our Logo of Light. I will give this until November 30th, the last of this month, so get your entries and ideas in!

So instead, I made this instead. It's sort of a typeface thing, not exactly a logo. Feel free to use however you'd like. 8]

I may eventually open this to the public to enter-- but I figured no one would be ineterested in designing a patch for the Lightbringers if they weren't one.
If this doesn't fly so good after some time, with only Lightbringers entering-- I may very well be opening this to the public.

The background could be a sort of dark blue-grey, to make both the leaf (which could be either brown or green) and the light (gold, of course) stand out.
As a motto... "In caliginem, nos ferimus lux"
Literally: "Into the darkness, we bring light."
I'm also toying with "In caliginem, nos ferimus luca" which would be "Into the darkness, we bring lights."
I've checked my grammar for my motto: everything I can determine works.
Edit: Except in the second version, I forgot a letter. Oi.

Latin sucks (as a subject), but putting it into mottos is great, I agree - probably why I chose it x]

Oooo! Seed that's awesome! I wish I knew Latin, and a Latin motto would be excellent! Those two are great, and will deff be up on the post as soon as I update!

Have an outline of a deer or maybe even custom make it for each Lightbringer's deer and a golden light where the heart would be. The pic above isn't that great but its kinda what i'm getting at. I dont know if its really a background but when I was thinking of a motto I made it.
