As some of you know, I've been wearing a heart monitor for the past month now.
Well, today was the last day, and I was quite thrilled with the fact that I would not have to wear these "sticky pads" across my chest and ribcage anymore.
Now, from the beginning, I had to order the special non-allergenic stick electrodes because my skin reacted badly to the sticky parts of the ones the doctor gave me.
I would look like I was slightly burned with red blotchy patches in a circle were it had been.
The new non-allergenic ones solved this problem.
Until the last day. Today.

After removing the one from my chest, I noticed these red welts apearing on my skin. And now, I have a "e" shaped wound.
It doesn't hurt at all, just itches like crazy.
I just thought I'd share my ironic moment with you guys.

Guess even my body wishes to show some Edmund lurv. XD

i had one of those for a month too. it ate my skin as-well :/
The hypoallergenic ones made it worse for me.
but at least you don't have to wear them anymore! Smiling

Agrona: Aren't hey so annoying?! XD I almost choked myself so many times on the chord and the hypoallergenic sticky pads started to aggravate my skin towards the end. I'm just glad I don't have to wear them anymore. Sad

And since you had to wear one to,I hope you got good results from yours. I'm kinda nervous about mine. ;.;

FaunGrae: lol, yes indeed, boob "e". I did try some cream for irritated skin, but it just made it itch more. Sad

I didn't get results from

I didn't get results from mine because I have an immune disease not a heart problem. And iv don't that with it too -_- i got it caught on everything. Choked myself. It was a pain in the butt!
I hope your results are ok <3 heart problems can be super scary.

Oh wow. O.O An immune disease? I hope your ok.
And that chord is evil. It tries to get you while your sleeping. Sad
Hopefully the results will be good. Smiling They said I have a murmur, as I was told from the first doctors visit, but the paperwork from the ultrasound of my heart said it wasn't bad. Maybe the monitor results will clarify and I can quite worrying.

i will be ok after diagnosis.

i will be ok after diagnosis. that takes up to another year ;-;
but i have a constant heart murmur. i have 3 beats instead of 2. which is apparently normal. (as weird as that is haha)
i had all that testing done again about 4 days ago to confirm its not my heart.
i never wore it in my sleep D: im a fighter in my sleep and i would have strangled myself with it.

your doctor will most likely say its a normal thing. my doctor said the same thing. "It's normal for kids your age and it will go away" is what i got.
