USA Godzilla is in the TV, but is to boring to be watched. I can't find the perfect names I'm looking for, and Fae is missed in the forest. I'll go back to my empty trance of never-becomming-true daydreaming.
I really prefer the real, Japanese Godzilla movies. This one is just plain boring, non-creative and other words I can't descripe. My boyfriend can tell you why it is so bad.
I would have loved to see the original ones, but I don't know how to get my hands on them, other than the clips I've seen on youtube. >.<
And your boyfriend can save his breath, we just have different opinions then. :b
We've bought one of those collection boxes with Godzilla movies. I think there is 5 movies inside such box. But I don't know where to buy it. And if you like Godzilla, you should check out Gamera, a giant, firebreathing, flying turtle, also known as friend of children. (Even though he tries to protect humankind, he does more damage than the evil monsters. That makes me laugh sometimes)
Of course you may have your oppinion! And as long as the movie amuses you, no one should tell you not to see it.
Oy... The Roland Emmerich version of Godzilla is downright painful. I wouldn't have minded the movie if it were executed well and was exciting...but alas, it is a horrible blockbuster movie. I've been hearing about another Americanized Godzilla movie that is in the works, but it's a complete reboot and might actually be pretty good. Regardless, nothing beats the campy originals, bad dubbing and all. c:
ickydog, I think we are unlucky with our timing to be online at the same time.
I haven't heard of a thing called Dead Kappa, and a new american Godzilla would end down in the dirt.
I love the godzilla movies. I have most all of them on vhs (except for the really crappy ones. you know what i'm talking about) and a few on dvd. But what would you expect from a person that has loved dinosaurs her whole life? It also doesn't help that i'm a fan of creature movies both really old and new.
I really love the origonal Godzilla 50s the best. The regular Japanese one with subtitles.
I've always loved dinosaurs, dragons and monsters, I actually got into the Japanese monster world through Mothra when I was really young. I've seen a couple of the movies, but far from enough!
Godzilla? Boring? You don't
