This morning, my little sister saw one of my gerbils running on the floor. Yes, we have two female gerbils: Tiuhti and Viuhti (moomin characters in finnish). Viuhti is black and Tiuhti is light like orange but not orange. I love my gerbils. So, my sister said: "Viuhti has escaped or here is a mouse". I didn't believe it but when I was looking is it true or not, I saw a black body with a long tail. "There she is", I said. I tried to catch her, but gerbils are fast.
Finally I got her under the bed.

Now Viuhti is on their terrarium and her sister Tiuhti is so happy. Viuhti was somewhere out of terrarium... couple days? And Tiuhti was sad. She was hiding all the time, and just peeked out. If I tried to pet her she ran away. But now when Viuhti is back, she loves me. She gives hugs to my fingers.

And today I played The Endless Forest. I'm just a little fawn but I got a white colour. Then it just... disappeared! How is this possible? And I thought those magic things work only to adult deers? Can someone tell me? :3

He stands tall upon a hill, admiring small fawns play. He stares past them to see their families happily doing the same. The joy in the forest brought a smile to his face.

As quickly as the smile appeared, it faded. The happiness of the forest seemed to bring back thoughts of his past. Oh, how his past haunted him. No matter how much he tried to forget, the images still rushed back into his brain. Well, what exactly did he see? Let's take a trip down memory lane.

6 years ago, Kai met a beautiful doe. She had a soft, golden pelt and a gentle disposition. She would move gracefully and loved to groom others. Kai grew feelings for this lovely doe and eventually won her heart. What could possibly be so terrible about that? Just wait, we're getting there.

Along the road, Kai and his mate grew closer. Kai's mate eventually got pregnant, which was possibly the happiest day of Kai's life. He told everyone in the forest about his upcoming fawn. His first fawn! How incredible! Kai knew it was an honor to produce a fawn and cherished it. He would protect his mate at all times. He barely slept. He would stay up all night keeping watch. He would also travel further distances to get to the best grazing areas. He took her everywhere.

All of his efforts amounted to success when, early one morning, his mate made a small distress call. She was going into labor and Kai was extremely excited but also kept himself in state of high alarm. Nothing was going to harm his mate or his first fawn and he made sure of it.

He encouraged her with small nudges and licks. He could tell she was in intense pain. She must have been tired, he thought as he saw her head slowly lower. It was taking up all of her strength to give birth. But then he began to notice her become very still. Her breathing was almost unnoticeable and faded as the seconds passed by. Kai began to panic, and released a high pitched honk. She didn't move. He nudged her and blew air at her face.

So, from what I've read the forest kind of changes it sometimes. When does it change? And how does it change? If anyone wants to explain it to me that would be beautiful.

It's my second day having the game. It seems extremely fun so far, but i'm realizing how different all the other deer look. They have unique patterns, like one I saw that had tiger stripes, and another that was like a cow. Some of the deer have differently structured antlers and even faces. Is it something i can personalize on my own deer? If so, how? If not, how do those deer get to look so cool? XD

Hello to the Community!

I just joined the game about two days ago. I'm still figuring out the basic things one needs to know.
I'm fascinated by this game, the whole concept is just awesome.
I was very pleased to meet a deer who bowed in front of me, I bowed back and that was our communication. That's awesome.

I already read through some threads about the diffrent pelts, antlers and masks and well I've got some questions:

I realized the skull mask is a halloween special with finding a giant zombie deer. Is there a chance of meeting him this year to halloween too?

How are such events (if occuring) handled these days? I've seen somewhere something about tickets but could not find more informations.

How does the community like it if one deer looks like another one? Well you've got quite many sets to combine but still possibilities of getting a style together wich looks like another already well known deer... how is the general opinion about such happenings?

Well, I hope to get my dream deer together. Cause the first night after joinng this game I had a dream. I can't remember what happend. I just woke up with one picture of a deer in my head and I new that was my deer in the game during that dream.... I then found the "Style-Your-Deer"-site on DeviantArt and scrolled through the options and realised the parts for the deer exist. According to that page my deer wore the RealDeer Antlers, a long greyish pelt and a skull mask...... it would be a nce goal to realize such a crazy way of getting an idea for a character. (Thought I don't want to be rude in copying any already etablished deer-celebrities....)

Well, I hope to find some nice experiences in this game.
