Woo

Rire hasn't made any diary entries!
Maybe it's because we're lazy. And/or busy.

Well, today, Rire woke up and... promptly went back to sleep again. The sounds of the frogs and the water lapping in the creek were just too good to pass up! After he dozed for a while, all peaceful-like, he got up again and went to track down the only other deer who seemed to be awake in the forest. There were fun, and the trio got into a game of follow-the-leader-dancing-do-the-wave I dunno what to call it! But it was fun.
Screenshots later, maybe? No time right now - Rire's prodding me (the fingers) to go and do calculus, like I said I would when I told him why he had to take a nap.

Exploration

The fawn awakens in this strange environment he shalt soon call home. Bewildered by the tranquility of the scene, he does not move immediately, but instead surveys his surroundings. The trees are rich with life and the very forest floor bustles with the frenzied activities of the myriad of creatures spread throughout its thatch work.

Feeling somewhat more grounded, he takes his first tentative steps into this lucid locale. Finding nothing at first but the endless trees themselves, he begins to wonder if he is, in fact, alone. Distantly he hears a rumbling, as if the earth itself doth tremble. Again and again he hears this, scared beyond belief and yet morbidly intrigued. His curiosity envelops his fear and he heads forth to investigate.

Stumbling through a patch of rocks he shalt soon know as "the playground", he is led inexorably on by this rumbling, now faintly resembling coherence. He thinks he can discern a benign tone in the vibration, but proceeds no quicker for this epiphany.

Gradually, grudgingly, a ruin arises 'twixt the shades of the o'er-arching boughs. What mind or creature could create such structures, he ponders. But the sound is definitely coming from within, so he suspends such thought for the time being, and presses on. Within the centre of the ruin, and seemingly equally as ancient, a proud stag with archaic antlers and a sagacious expression perches upon a plinth. The fawn instantly heralds his superior and prostrates.

The stag seems pleased by his humility, and slowly wanders towards the perimeter, slow enough to insinuate its wish for its new friend to follow. The fawn stumbles along the rocky ground, but obediently respects this unspoken request. The stag stops by a rock that is somehow different from the others, and motions for the fawn to investigate further.

Genesis

I hath just today acquired this intriguing virtual gateway, and I must profess that 'tis rather perplexing at best being so short of stature and thin of chest, but still, I continue on and hope for the best, 'til before the Heathen Idols I lay me down to rest.

I did it! I did it! I sat on the air! well, mostly, I sat on a willow tree. or in one, hee-hee ^^. But I did it. I'm not very good at doing fancy things yet, but I'm managing...unless one of the deer gets twoo high. I'm looking at you, Sluggs and your cage-top mockery!...Oh, it's OK, really, Sluggs.

I also finally got to see Scape again today by the ruins! We proceeded to mess around, such as hiding in tombstones and pillars. One thing kinda bugged me, about my favorite grave to hide in: who was the little human-thing on the tombstone?...I can't help but worry that it was whoever was in the grave, and they wanted to show how much he suffered...Humans were probably crazy. Anyway, Scape and I messed around, hiding in trees and running around the river and suchnot, generally having the best time I've had in days. Then we did some magic with some other deer, and I had to go.

I met up with Scape, Sluggs and some other deer -- some fawns, I guess, and some stags -- in the ruins again later. They were hanging out near the wall, all the stags as fawns, and we became like this...this...wall-o'-fawn-butts! It was very funny. Most of the others left, but Scape, Sluggs and I stayed behind and played with the wall some more: we started just sort of floating outside the wall, sometimes half imbedded in the wall, and sometimes upside-down...When we were done laughing about that, we found a little spot in the ruins that, to me, looked exactly like a dance floor! it was just a little square of stone. So we started dancing. I even got to breakdance some more ^^ And then Sluggs had to go, which made me realize how late it was, and how tired I was, so I just curled up there on the dancefloor and went to sleep.

The Diary of Seed, 2-24-08

No pictures today; I woke up oddly moody, having heard deep rumblings and a feeling of unhappiness in that place between sleep and waking where I hear things. I spent most of my morning wandering around, feeling sad and insecure. I wandered, and just frequently would run off and take a nap...

and when I woke up, I had a plan: in that place, which seemed a happier one now, I heard of deer sitting in the air. I wanted to try that, since I like things like flying or waterwalking or such silliness...but I couldn't. I would get a good run, some air, and then, when I started to sit...I'd fall. sometimes, I wouldn't even sit at all. I managed it once, for a glimmer of a second. Then, later, I ran into Sluggs, who I knew had been doing this. For a while, we just goofed off, running around and suchnot, and I had a pretty good time: but in the back of my head, I had a feeling Sluggs was going to want to do that, and I didn't know what I would do then. So when Sluggs started flying around, I was trying really hard to sit in the air. I couldn't. I got really frustrated, since I couldn't tell what I was doing wrong! I don't like not being able to do something other deer can do. I don't wanna look stupid. Silly yes, but that's all in good fun. I think I might have started crying if Sluggs wasn't there...and maybe Sluggs understood this somehow, because he nuzzled me some, and then we just did other things. But I was tired from all the running, so I went to go to sleep for the night. I've taken to sleep under the bridge.

((OOC Note: for some reason, the image in my head of Seed about to cry, or Seed crying, is too cute for words. I might try drawing it sometime ^^. I, as a player, am fine. No worries ^^. He's just been feeling too much subconcious forum angst))

Today, I met up with Scape again, and we quickly got down to water-walking. I thought about it, and wrote a haiku:
Fawn watches balance,
Ripples spreading beneath hooves
Splash! only a frog

I need to work on my haiku, I think. This will require practice. Maybe I'll write a whole bunch...provided I can think of some stuff that would make good haiku.

Anyway, Scape and I even went and were underwater deer for a while. Being an underwater deer is fun. We met up with Sluggs for a bit; he turned into a fawn, and we played at being the fawn tree, and its relative the two-butted, one-headed fawn tree. We headed out to the ruins after that (or was it before?) for a little while, but then it was just the two of us again, off to go shove parts of ourselves into strange places. Or hop and run and leap around. You know, whatever presented itself. We hung around the crying idol for a bit, and then we went to the bridge. Not the top of the bridge...I mean under it! we played the two-headed fawn-troll that lives under the bridge. that was one of my favorites. When we were leaving, we ran into another fawn, who I guess must have heard us playing down there. We danced for a bit -- I even got to practice my breakdancing skills: I'm learning to go from laugh-spinning on the ground to dancing really fast, and vise-versa: it helps to rear and spin a it, first. I took a nap after that.

First time water walking! Laughing out loud

Laying on Water

Me and my RL sister in-game. Smiling If you see her (she doesn't get on much, though..) be nice to her xD Though she's a bit slow with the game - doesn't use the actions much - and she has no patience for giving lots of pelts. *I asked her to help me get some pelts the other day and she got fed up, lol

Sniffing Zombie-Sluggs

Watching the 'show' as it were - Kogy and Sluggs boogeyin' in the Cage

Far too large to put here, so clicky! - I found this and wondered where I was... xD

Everytime I 'fly', I always think I look like a giant over places like that.

Poor fawn.

Dear Diary,

I was bored, so I went to the forest.
I heard something or someone whisper to me. I didn't find out what it/the "someone" whispered, but I felt like I had to go somewhere.
I ran to the Old Oak, but no, I didn't have to go there. I ran to the Playground, but not there... The Pond; No. I was confused. Very confused.
I ran to the Ruins, and I heard whispers again. Someone wanted me to go to the Ruins. Now I heard people singing. Singing like in a church. All I could do now, was looking after something. And I saw a cage. I had to go there! But at the same time, I heard a voice saying that I shouldn't go there. I looked around me. Then , I saw a hole. A big hole with stairs.
I looked down closely and saw something. Something terrible! i walked backwards, turned and ran in the cage! I didn't mean to do that. And the cage wasn't there before I looked down and saw the terrible thing. I didn't really see it, I think. I think I saw it in my head. But in my head I saw the thing down there, in the big hole with stairs. When I came in the cage, I cried! Now I could see anything! I saw something more. I was so scared! Scared for life! I laid down, tried to ignore them, and falled in sleep.
Much, much later, I woke up by hearing some hooves running. I looked around. I was still in the cage, but the cage was open! I ran to the Pond to get some water. I didn't have any voice.
After drinking a lot of water, I ran to the Old Oak.
I heard the singing again. Scary singing.
"STOP IT!...........PLEASE!" *cry*
But it wouldn't stop. It was people singing in a church.
I couldn't move. My hooves didn't move. Nothing moved. Time was standing still. I heard voices. "Don't go there. You don't have to go there." I heard whispering.. "please, don't go there.. We.."
It was females whispering something.. Suddenly, a nameless stag came, roaring at me. I "woke" up from "dreaming".. The singing came. I ran in circles and screamed that it had to stop!

21th february 2008..

Dear Diary,
I've been thinking of getting back my old set. You know, the one Perplex had when he was a she. Just that he didn't use the antlers I'm using. Brown pelt with many spots all over, the real deer mask and "stumped" antlers. I had that set at the beginning. At my "Happy Doe Day", but I found this other set. Or, other pelt. The magpie pelt. If the Mardi Gras stuff has to go away, I'll have my old set back. Actually I started a bit today.

Today I've been with Sluggs. <3
We had so much fun! We do always have much fun.

Oh, and my aunt is now 4 years old! (IRL)
She had her birthday the 17th of february. Happy birthday Mari!

If you want to know more, read Sluggs' blog. XD
He has pictures of things ..
