This is from one of my deer's thoughts. I won't tell which, though x3. Eh, I was bored and decided to type some crap up. No, this didn't happen in the forest. Just came from my head.

I see you standing there, but yet, you don't seem to see me. Who am I? What am I to you?...that's what I expected. You're over there, speaking to them, not to me. I'm over here, in plain view. Though, at the same time, I'm not. I'm just any leaf falling from a tree, any butterfly passing by. Seen, but quickly forgotten. You smile and laugh, having such a good time. I'm here, left in the cold, shivering. Waiting. Wishing. Wanting.

...Snow.

She'd never seen anything like it. Not in the Forest, at least. Her hooves sent up flurries of white every time they hit the ground in her dash across the forest. Cold, yes. But, moreso beautiful then foreboding. Her pelt was pale gray at the moment, camoflauging her against the white wonderland. Like Alice, she was. Having the time of her life in a place of prettiness only an imagination could draw up.

But she was alone.

Where were her friends? Off in the Otherworld, enjoying their new freedoms? Sleeping? It didn't matter. They were missing, all of them, from her fun. The thought of it sent shivers of fury through her body. Why was it that whenever she needed them...they were gone? She tossed her head and looked around her. The landscape was empty, no doubt. She couldn't even detect the faintest smell of another being on the breeze.

Her awe was halted. She stepped through the forest in silent pensiveness now, solitary and feeling it to the bone. For a being such as her, without company, is lost.

And in all I loved, I loved alone.

Hey, is there anyone who can cast the candles on me? I saw a fawn running around with candles casting them on everyone, but I can't find them, but can someone come to the forest and cast them on me, if you now where they are? xD

The Autumnal/Vernal (depending on your hemisphere) Equinox fell on Monday, September 22nd. Everyone has been busy for the past couple of weeks with work, school, and some of us (myself included) had to deal with severe weather events.

Now, what I would like to do is gather with all of you for a Equinox party sometime this Saturday or Sunday. I want to find a time that would suit everyone who wants to join, so I'm posing various times for people from which to choose. Below is a list of links to the World Clock websites for different times to help you choose what time would be best for you.

Now that I am finally able to use a poll, I am going to set the gathering times based on votes. The time slots that have the first and second number of people voting is when I will set the times.

***Also, there is a chance that, due to the quality of Internet at my parents' house, I may not be able to come myself. In any case, meet at the Twin Gods Hill and have fun from there, whether I show up or not. I want y'all to have some social fun, after all.

Was suddenly inspired to write this while in forest. Took a lotta freedom though. X3
I wish the forest was more quiet when snow falls. :< It would be more realistic and more calming...

Warm tufts of fur, brushing gently, waver with shallow breaths of multiple lungs swaying with the intensity inhaling frost. Foamy smoke curled from mouths slitted as the breath slipped to and fro the dark depths, nares shut tight against such intruders as the cold. Bodies once aquiver found it reasonable now, as they huddled close, to deal with such an deflux of heat. They hovered round, eyes far away, lost within the long depths of such a dreamland.

The chill air seemed to suddenly birthe new life: from it tentively floating, fresh flakes. Dry, crisp, they ring out Winter, yet drift now in Autumn. Seems nature has forwarded itself to the next chapter, skipping fall and its charmless colours. Beautifully each teeny piece of snow falls down, landing upon the previous, covering the few leaves that had recieved the chance to fall early. Erasing the terrible timing, and creating a bright haze to the world.

Blinding, blurred at the edges.

More deer gather. Wary of the thickening flurries; fearful of the wandering cold whose grasp is cold and harsh, and finished wtih previous frolicks. Their thick winter coats are not finished in their process, and have not fully flourished. Being caught now could mean death to such fragile threads of life, why not then take the company of friends?

Yeah, ok...I've tried to get on the forest several times today, but it's been so laggy I can barely do anything ;_; It's never been this bad...is anyone else having a problem? I've seen a few mentions of lag in blogs...so I'm wondering if it's the game and not my computer. Anyways...sorry to anyone looking for Shyla and Darcy =/
