Today was a mixed bag. I woke up feeling relatively good, though the feelings from yesterday still lingered. I’m almost an adult doe, and it’s hard to get used to so many new emotions. The innocent crush I had on that stag… is different, now. It’s not the same, and it’s hard to even be around him, now. I can’t explain what the difference is, I don’t like to think about it. I feel stupid for feeling this way about someone so much older. I’m just a silly little fawn, maybe I’ll grow out of this phase, soon. I know there are probably lots of other deer who roll their eyes at me, I’m sure there are plenty of you who would like to tell me, “You’re just a fawn – you don’t know what love is, yet. You haven’t met many deer, yet. Your feelings will change, soon.” Maybe you’re right. But... Well, I do try to be modest, for the most part. Deer who are full of themselves are quite repulsive, if you ask me. Yet… If you’ll excuse such a bold statement, I am well aware that I am unusually mature for my age. My childhood has been anything but innocent, and I am already nearly grown. I am more intelligent than many deer would like to think.

Now, there are many deer in the forest who struggle with less-than-perfect fawnhoods. Many were orphaned, like me. Others were teased relentlessly by older deer; some ignored, some traumatized by various events. We deer are unique individuals, and we respond to these things differently. Some deer make up for lost time by turning themselves into eternal fawns – running around and playing tricks on other deer, acting like children in adult bodies. Other deer take a separate road; they become quiet, withdrawn, serious. And the remaining deer, myself included, take a mixture of both roads. But that mature, silent part of me is the majority of my being. I am much wiser than you might think; I know how things work.

Well, I was pretty scared yesterday after not having been able to eat for some 48 hours and having gastro. This morning I was able to get down some gatorade and some easy-on-the-stomache food, so it looks like I won't be going to the scary ER of hospital horror. *joy*

That said, thank you guys for the concern. <3 You're all so great. *nuzzle*

Today when I got in to the forest, my little buddy was on to, Dynamite! So ofcourse Nala went to find him, and after they had spent some time together Winterleaf joined them, at first, shy little Dynamite was a bit unsure about Winterleaf, but when I showed him he wasn't dangerous, that fear was blown away! Then LT joined us to, and the four of us had a blast!

Okey, so after spending time with these four, little LT decided to leave us and go do something else, so we said goodbye to him, then me and Dynamite went up to take a nap on the twin gods hill, but then suddenly poor little winterleaf came running in fear! And behind him came a stag who had Winterleafs set! At first I welcomed the stag, but then he lowered his antlers at me.
Now... Normally Nala would try to just settle it, not to pick a fight, but with terrified little Dynamite cowering behind her in fear, her motherinstincts kicked in and she knew she had to protect him t all costs, so she faught back!





Little Dynamite didn't like this at all, but after several minutes of fighting, Nala decided to be the bigger person, and she turned around, comforted Dynamite, and she, dynamite and witnerleaf ran of!

Now.. To who ever you where lowering your antlers at me, incase I did something to anger you, I'm sorry!
If you where doing it just for fun, I'm not sorry for fighting back, you scared a little fawn!

Guh, I've been so lazy lately.

I haven't been in the forest for about 2 weeks in a half.
Which isn't that bad but still. Eh, oh well. I'm just
kinda buisy right now because of a new kitty cat I got
who just loves to have attention. He's like a tick, he
can't get enough of attention,
and mainly a couple of gift arts I've been working on...

...Should be done with the first one soon, it normally
takes me 3 to 2 days to get a pic done and scanned.

Hopefully I can play B.H.'s mom, never got a chance to play her ...

But at least I'm a little more content with it than I was with Shy's growing up. Her persnality is pretty developed and she's had good fawnhood I think ^^
