My Girl...

Human Status: Back into things she's been neglecting. Quite happy to have the wedding done, looking forward to the new year.

Fahnette status: Yay!

Fahnette~-~-~
She LOVES to dance (as does her human) and especially enjoys spinning. Interpretive dancing with Fahnette consists of walking around backward and forward in slow circles around her dance partner until they both get giddy and giggly.

She tends to be a bit of a butterfly when it comes to who she spends time with in the Forest, but once she forms a bond with someone it will last forever and a day.

She's become more comfortable with bigger groups, perhaps because she's gotten more comfortable with herself.

She doesn't move fast and gets lost easily when she's trying to follow someone who is making a run for it. BUT! She has learned how to hop in a circle and has a really good time!

Fahnette has found her lifemate. He's on a different plane than the Forest, but he knows it's a place that makes her happy so he's very encouraging of her spending time there.

she speaks in italics, so if you see this in a post you know she's around.

Family: Wed her soulmate on October 10th in a lovely little ceremony at Borders Bookstore.

Current Forest music: Sting, "If On A Winter's Night" (full album, it's incredible)
Best Forest moment thus far: Interpretive Dancing with 21 at the Ruins.
Favorite Forest place: Runs around and flops anywhere. Has developed a new habit of sleeping under trees.

My first fanart! Thanks and much love love love to Crimsongale!

Chapter five of Mystress' Story (Including Walter, Queze, and Lady Bones)

Mystress' vision was darkened, and a layer of gray frosted everything in view. She was blind. Her hearing became duller and duller, to unkind words until she could hear them no more.
She remembered the voice of the Gods, before she was given a body, before time, in between death and life, limbo and earth, nothing and everything...

"You will not see, you will not speak nor will you hear anything un-pure or evil, until you are tested. Until then, you may hear only the Holy thoughts of others, and their Holy words. You may speak only to them in their minds, and you will speak only of the light and of goodness. And you will not see. You will see only the spirits of the good, and the pure.

It was time.
She was Jyuniper.
And she was Mystress.
But, who is she. And what is she doing here?

"Mystress, Mystress! Are you there? Can you hear me?" Before her a golden light glowed. It was like every metal in the earth, and every firefly that ever flew. It was the color of contentment, of magic, and of the devout. It was Yorres. Mystress found herself on the ground. She stood, and the earth gave-way underneath her, and tilted sickeningly...

"Your eyes." The golden spirit spoke. It was the shape of a deer, and bore the face of Yorres himself, but none of his earthy possesions. No bone, nor muscle, skin, or fur. It was air, golden, shimmering air... It was his spirit... She could see it as clear as day. She could see every spirit and soul that walked the forest ground. And some that could not, trees and rocks whispered their stories in her new, deaf ears. She could hear everything.

"My eyes?" Mystress' knees buckled under her as if she were a newborn fawn. The candles atop her antlers were aflame with white fire.
"They're like flames." The golden Yorres spoke, just then the silence was shattered.

My written musings...

[=white][i]...grow more distant these days. I am unsure as to why. Well, no matter. I am writing now, and that is all that matters at this moment.
Though I find this stone structure interesting and not, for it reminds me of my old life, nothing intrigues me more than the Great Oak. Its forever resonating hum, that sounds both of sorrow and happiness mixed, seems unending. To some it is eerie. To others a gentle lullaby. I am unsure as to which opinion I fall under. But I will admit, that no matter what one finds the tune like, there is beauty to its song.
I awoke within the cave formed by its great roots, candles atop my crown once again. I have grown a liking to them. They serve as a good substitute for antlers. I still wonder if I will ever grow to be a noble stag with an impressive antler rack.
Stepping from the Oak's shadow, a gleam of white caught my eye. Ah, yes. Those statues. The twin statues that serve as a place of worship to the Gods of this forest. Though why deer would need to pray I do not know. But then, I must remember, this forest is not filled with normal deer. Most have human faces after all, and all but the unnamed ones may cast magic.
While studying the craftmanship of these great stones, I was approached by quite an odd deer. Not only were they no larger than my slight fawn form, but from their eyes, flowed tears. Not just any tears.
But tears of blood.
Blood flowing forth from empty sockets where their windows to the soul should be.
How strange.
I had no time to think on it further before they were on their way again, not the least bit impeded by lack of eyes. The aid of magic? Perhaps.
There are still so many wonders of this forest I have yet to discover.
I soon found myself in the company of a few young ones. I must admit, I am never sure how to act amongst fawns. My mind is not that of a child. It has not been for many years. And even then it was forced to grow up too fast. The day that...

New to the Forest

Hi everyone, my names Virami, but everyone calls me Vira ^^
I hope to see you all in the forest so we can hang out Laughing out loud

...eye of the storm, a calm unspoken.....

......:The day was cool when I awoke, the sky alive as the clouds eagerly passed overhead. I opened my eyes quite slowly, enjoying the calm which I had recently let go of with my unreliable health. Istretched my legs, standing up straight to scan the horizon for a certain sound which I believed to have caught just moments ago. It wasn't just a trick of mind, and I soon found Poltergeist sitting calmly beneath a tree. I greeted her with a tender nuzzle, bowing not soon after. Noticing she had stood, I motioned her to come over and sit, that perhaps I shouldn't have interupted her calm rest. It wasn't long before both of us ended up basking in the sun, watching as other residence of the calm forest leaped and bounded near the pond in every direction.

.....:I turned to her, noticing her eyelids grow heavy and her ears relax just a tad. She was tired, no doubt of it. I nuzzled her once again, while still sitting, insisting that if she were drowsy, she shouldn't need to stay awake. Poltergeist complied, and apparently, so did I, as we both ended up napping beneath the warm sun. I've been exaughsted for no reason as of late, and I found a strange comfort of laying beside her, protecting her from whatever dangers that could lurk within the shadows. So tired were we, that we lay there silenced for quite awhile, before I felt Poltergeist stir and begin to awaken. I frowned, nuzzling her, my mind telling myself that it was time for my departure. We said our goodbyes, and I whispered a quick 'I love you, Poltergeist', before I fell asleep for the day.

I don't know if this can be considered spam but...

..;___; I get so shy when I play! Everytime I see another deer I run off...

aaah, in all honesty: I don't know what to do. I'm not socially awkward at all, but here, I just...can't express myself...!
...It's hard not being able to read people. Eeheh~~ I'll have to get used to it..!
