Growing Up

((The Fawn))
I woke up today, aching dully. I walked slowly, trying to get it to go away. It didn't. Instead, I kept wandering, as usual.

My hooves led me to the ruins. A deer was sitting there, dark pelt with bones, brown spiky antlers, and a skull for a face. This was the first thing that made me stay. I watched him for awhile, wondering whether to go closer. I didn't particularly care for stags, after all.

Then I saw him go up to a sleeping stag and begin to eat it.

I should have been scared, but instead this drew me closer. I was sure that the Twin Gods would not want this to happen. And if he was a rebel, perhaps he knew the way to go against the statues. Perhaps he even knew a way out. I approached slowly, less cautious, and greeted him.

He greeted me back, and I nuzzled him. I had found someone to be around, someone that was perhaps a little bit like me. I sat next to him for awhile, until I decided to go to the pond. I said goodbye to him. Strange how I was no longer afraid of pelts and masks like his. I fell asleep by the Crying Idol.

That little pain I had been feeling suddenly blossomed into an all-over ache. When I got up it got even worse. My head was pounding, as always. I was able to get a few feet before I blacked out from the pain, landing ironically by the Twin Gods hill. I only had time to wonder if this was my punishment for going against the statues.

I awoke a little while later. The pain had dulled to a small ache, though it was still all over me. I felt different as I stumbled to the pond. I froze, staring at my reflection.

My pelt was darker, much darker, a chocolate brown. My antlers...my antlers? I had antlers now, covered in the purple flowers that I had found that one day. Now them seemed to have sprung into full bloom though. My eyes and face were outlined in orange, making my eyes look more vacant. I kept staring, then started shaking.

Madness

[=white][i]Chaos. Insanity.
Words that cannot best describe what I came across after I awoke. I had wandered down to the pond, but the constant calls of deer masks caught my curiosity, causing me to divert my route. What I found, were three stags, dancing in a row. That was not odd on its own. What was odd about them was, they were all dressed the same.

...and my friend Darkweaver was among them.
I could not help myself in showing amusement before joining in their dance along with the other deer they had drawn the attention of, though I kept to my true look rather than partake of their "cloning".
I soon found myself assisting my dark companion in regaining his antlers, as he had lost them for the "clone party". That same doe I had met a few times, including a bit the other day, came upon us. She has proven to be a lively one, trying to get me to join in play of some sort. It is odd for me, as I have not really played much since my previous life's childhood, but I go along with it eventually.
Especially since it really does prove to be entertaining.
Such as the antics I found myself joining on this day.
This...air-sitting, as it is called... Though last time had been in my fawnhood, in a weeping willow tree.
Soon, even Dark was in the air with us. The dancing of before was now moved to a full-grown stag's height off the ground. I swear my voice almost returned then, wanting to add to the shouts of joy as we danced.
But, as all things do, it came to an end.

..Something wrong with TEF.

...Okay what the heck ;_;

I started playing TEF today, and for some reason, my Windowed view had gone back to full screen, and I was logged on as guest!

So I logged on 88, logged off, got my spelldata from my email draft, deleted all old spelldata, looked through all folders to make sure there was none left anywhere, logged on, and 88 still didn't have her spelldata! I did this multiple times, and... It didn't work.

I donno what to do. ;_; It'll be really hard to get her mask back too..

Okay.. so it's not just spelldata, it's the set saving itself. Like.. Someone just cast the peacock feathers and a few pelts on me, and I sneezed one pelt off, and the whole set thing disappeared. I still had the peacock antlers, but I couldn't sneeze them off if I wanted too.

Then I quit the game, and opened it up, and the antlers were gone!

It's not saving ANY of my pelt data. It's really weird!

Who is this little fawn, coming to greet my sleeping form? What a dear. So young and sprightly - there he goes, dashing up the hill! Ah, I remember when I was a fawn...

My, but this stream's water is good and clear! It is lovely and fresh. Though I wonder, is the only reason for this statue to cry to supply water? I cannot help but wonder why he mourns... Hum, but I am grateful towards him, regardless. Such clean water I have not tasted since the age before the floods...

Oh, and the grass is delicate and soft, so tender! What a wonderful place this stream is. I do think I am quite fond of it now.
Even those lovely little red flowers are here. How sweet.

What is this?! A bridge! Of all things. But this must be a human thing... This is all very odd. Perhaps humans were indeed once here.

Ah, but this water-lily is a jewel. Hum, see how it glows upon the water! I sniff it and it is sweet-smelling. How beautiful. This forest is filled with beautiful things. In fact, I have yet to see something dead, like a wilted flower. Hum...

And all streams lead to larger bodies of water, they say. And here, here is a pond, to be sure. A magnificent pond, hum!

Prom Photo xDDD

Sluggs...being Sluggs xD. I think Walter wasnt too thrilled Laughing out loud

I've met them before? (some old screenies)

Looking at some old screenshots, I discovered some now-familiar pictos. Turns out there were some deer she actually met as a fawn, but by the time she met them again as an adult, I had forgotten about it.
I've probably posted some of these before. Oh well.
It's kind of weird looking at these and realizing how many deer I recognize now. X3

Amary and Skeevah! (and I forget who that adult deer is)
Ah, memories. :3
Not that I ever forgot Skeevah, of course, but I just like these shots of him and Amary.

Kaaoooorrrriiii! Laughing out loud

It's Iendoe and Vira! I didn't even realize I met Vira when she was a fawn. And she appears in a lot of my old screenshots, too.

OMG it's Darkweaver! And Aegle! And Bastilion! I didn't even know Amary had met them when she was a fawn.

I guess that's it.

Dancing! (Amary)

[=#9966cc]The dance was today!
I missed the first one, I got there and it had already ended. Earlier than it was supposed to, it seems. Oh well. I did some dancing with some others, anyway. Although there were only a few deer there that I know, but I don't mind, I like meeting new deer and making new friends.

When it was time for the second dance, no one was around. I felt disappointed. I was really excited for the dance! I love dancing! But I was kind of sad when no one showed up at first.

I saw Virgil and Baal, and since there was no dancing yet, I followed them around a bit. Poor Virgil, I could tell he wasn't feeling good. I wonder how he got sick? And then, I thought he was fighting with Baal, but when I tried to stop them, Virgil assured me it was just a bit of sparring. And something about dominance. I guess I don't really get it. Fighting is fighting, I thought. This wasn't fighting? What's the difference? Well, I guess I'm glad, because I like them both and I'd hate to think that two of my friends were fighting each other. That would be awful. But this "sparring" seems strange. But the "dominance" thing is even stranger. What's the point? All deer are equal, I don't see why anyone should be "dominant" over another.

Well, after Baal left, I stayed with Virgil some more, and after he fell asleep, I went to go dance with a couple of deer that were at the playground now. I've met one of them before, I think his name is Drache. Actually I think I've met the other one, too, but I don't think I ever got her name. Then another deer showed up, I think she's called Isis. And another deer that I don't know. So, there weren't very many of us, but we had fun anyway. I really enjoyed it.

The others left, and then it was just me and Drache. And that's when I sensed that one stag over by the lake.
