Ehretia is quite the sight to behold. While only about the size of a young fawn, she has the elegant and swift body of a mature doe, with long powerful legs ending in small, cloven hooves. She has a diminutive tail and long ears, however she also has the bowl-like, heart-shaped face covered in white, sensitive feathers and the dark eyes, the distinctive appearance of a barn owl that looks like a flat mask with oversized, oblique black eye-slits and the ridge of feathers above the beak somewhat resembling a nose. Ehretia’s light brown antlers are branch-like and swept backwards, curving inwards which gives them a windswept yet still elegant look. The plumage decorates her body with bright gold iridescent eyespots surrounded by dark reddish-brown and boarded by golden-orange stripes on her sides. Her face and undersides are pure white.
Ehretia is a curious and playful owldeer doe, and while she is the size of a fawn, Ehretia is full of spirit and personality. She is often frolicking through the forest chasing critters and playing with other deer. She loves meeting new deer, often bounding right up to them and greeting them with a bow or sniff before trying to encourage them to bound through the forest or to dance with her.
