Here I sit and watch as the great idol cries
I begin to wonder what your tears are for?
What would cause an old god to such a sight?
Are you crying over fear, loneliness, or burden?
Don't you see that you are never alone here?
There is always a deer who will sit by your side
We may share your tears, we may comfort you instead
Great Crying Idol, why do you cry?
Why do your tears make our beautiful pond?
If it ever comes to a time where I must cry too...
