So I've already been linked to the directory, which is a huge help! I'm getting the hang of the game, and some of the other aspects, but I'm still a tad confused about blog formatting. I'm reading over the tutorials and whatnot, but still...just a little lost.
Like how other members have blogs featuring images of their characters, scroll boxes for biographies and current events. CSS or whatever...Im still going to take my time reading through each section for Blogs in the TEF Directory, but if someone could sort of recap as to how people go about doing this? Or if anyone does something like a commission, where someone else could design it for you or something.
Thanks once again.
(Also, this is a tad unrelated, but could anyone tell me how they started out? How you interacted with other characters, got up to where you are? I'm just trying to get accustomed and meet other characters to develop one of my own. I really enjoy this experience and want to continue it. I see so many interesting concepts and backstories, it's amazing.)

Well... CSS is a computer language. And as with any language, getting the hang of CSS is mostly a slow, continuous process and is something you learn over time as you do more of it. For the purpose of styling bios and blogs, most people don't delve into it too much.
There are templates and free codes out there which can be used as a base. They're easy to use and most of them you can customize by just changing a few #color codes or background images. You can find them under the 'Free CSS' section on {Link Collection}- Art, Design & Coding. You can also find a few other useful links there. ((The scrollboxes are called "div"s, by the way, just to help you navigate a bit))
There are also people who take css commissions. The only one that comes to mind for me right now is iCSS Commissions, but I think a few others might be offering them too. You can also try and put up a blog requesting CSS. Sometimes you can find one or two people willing to make a layout for you. CSS is fun once you get the hang of it.
