The grass at his hooves is reduced to ashes, incinerated below him.
Heat rolls from the beast's form in waves, magma drips from every orifice it can escape from.
Crying tears of fire.
Places in his jet skin have been boiled open, exposing cooking flesh and bubbling pools of lava, black skin hangs from his head, bone easily seen where the flesh has been charred away.
His pace is languorous, slow, small animals flee at their own pace from him.
Even those who do touch the smoldering beast find that, while he is indeed warm, he does not burn, no not living creatures.

Another approaching the awareness of itself was always well received. Aware of the tranquility that came with eternity. Aware of one's own infinity. The flowers continue to watch the great flame, and others too bend to his light.
He is a beacon of warmth and brightness, and even as he has so much potential to harm, so the world could not be without his grace.
I love you, my friend. I wish we'd gotten to talk more in this lifetime.
I'll see you later. ♥

Serenai's reply was left in

She has, sadly passed on since then.
