It might be that you have an older version of the game. I know that on old versions of the game, the 3rd and 4th generation pictograms aren't visible.

Any suggestions? I'm running the most recent version of the game, but i cannot see some of the pictograms.

Try uninstalling the game, being sure you remove all files and then downloading and doing a fresh reinstallation. Something might have gone wrong during either process. A bit of a broken record because people have already mentioned it but be extra sure you're downloading version 3.41 when on the download page.

If that doesn't solve the issue, it might be an issue with your video card, or your connection to the server. Not much that can be done about the video card unless you want to try checking to see if it needs a driver update (unlikely unless you've noticed other display related issues). If you are playing on a laptop, trying to connect to the game server using another internet connection could help test if your connection is the problem. Players frequently have issues connecting to the server using wifi, but not many end up with blank pictograms.

This is odd, hopefully some of these will help narrow down the problem!


edit: If you are running through a windows partition like me, try right clicking the game icon on the desktop and selecting 'run as administrator'.
