Unconsciously the carrying one leaned towards her guest. With the approaching cold surrounding everything, her instinct pushed the kabuki-pelted to take any source of warmth, no matter how small it was. ”I am so glad to hear, everything is alright with your family.” She gave the shika doe an honest smile, licking some traces of the apple’s juice from her lips. ”I am as ready as one could be with a baby on the way. A place was more or less chosen and alternatives exist, too. The rest lays in the hands of fate and nature.”

With the greatest satisfaction a deer face could display, Trees swallowed the last remains of her sweet gift, listening to Kaoori’s story about the apple tree. She never noticed such a tree in the birch, but her little blue friend had better eyes for the unseen than anyone Trees had met before.
”Sure, I am always open for such sweet treats, but only share them if you want to. I am not angry or disappointed, if you rather want to preserve that little wonder.”

As Trees watched the blue flash of fluff disappearing into the distance she smiled upon the words hearing from her friend. Kaoori was too kind and good hearted for this world.

With patience the Storyteller closed her eyes and awaited the return. The cool autumn wind brushed over her ears, carrying noises from the world around further from their sources. Only the cracking of dry leaves made her look up. In a forest lacking of serious danger most of the times, these crispy sounds can only indicate another approaching deer, but they were so soft and easy despite their speed, that Trees was almost sure it had to be Kaoori returning from her little treasure hunt. Yellow orbs opened and fixed on the doe.

”Three apples. You are too kind to me.” Trees smiled and nuzzled the base of Kaoori’s ear in a thankful manner, nibbling a little at the curled fur there before turning towards the gifts. Black nose first she examined the fruits, looking for the softest and sweetest first. ”Sounds like this little tree is rather fragile. Or are the winds that strong here this year? Maybe you should think of a way to protect it over the winter.” When successful in her search, Trees plucked the apple from the branch and placed it before the other doe, indicating with a push of her nose towards the blue one to take it. ” Some wonders are only good when shared with friends, right?”

”Maybe putting some earth around the trunk or branches from other trees will help? Would be my first guess.” She picked one of the remaining apples and enjoyed the melting flavor on her tongue.

Trees smiled at the thought of a pretty apple tree resting in a bird-like nest while its twigs covering over the ripe apples like the wings of a mother bird on her hatchlings. "If you want or need help, I'll be willing to help you. I could carry small branches and help you pull the bigger ones. And maybe Wesker could push some smaller logs there, like a barrier for the dug-up earth around it."

Trees' expression softened at Kaoori's words. "I doubt, some light weighted twigs will hurt us, but if you insist I will do so." She had finished the second apple and took on the third. Geez, she must look so hoggish right now, but those thingies were simply that awesome.

I'm sorry, Domino can't get closer to the crowd, the game freezes and gluches. I can not move. AAAAAAAAAA! ;D

My Mina is sitting with Nukilik right now, she thought he looked a bit lonely.. ;.;

She was scared to approach him at first, but she worked up the courage to get closer and i'm glad he welcomed her to sit with him ^^ he seems really nice.

All thanks to you. I am glad, Zach could pay him a visit and they could talk for a while.
Because now, Nuki feels far more at ease now, too. Plus he is not that nervous anymore because of certain secret. Really, Zach should open up an education center for teaching the treatments of fawns, he would be amazing at it. ;D

Please stop, Trees. His voice was tired as his expression showed much the same. He didn't need this right now. "Verve woke up last night and panicked at the idea you had been around. Please, take your distance. I do not want to stop you from seeing her but I know how uncomfortable Verve is about you." Perhaps no nice bows and glitters around it then. "It doesn't matter that you are her mother right now. I want her to get back to health, you are not helping. Please, take your distance." This time his words were a bit harsher, pushing her back.

Gehirn frowned somewhat, there were so many things he'd rather say. But he kept himself at bay, oddly enough. "I would if I knew, Trees." What else could he say? Sure, she'll be fine. He had seen it in Herla's eyes last night. No, she wasn't going to be fine. But he didn't want to hear those words himself, let alone say them.. Hope was a good thing to have. Even if he felt like he was saying goodnight. "What I do know is that when she panicked, things got worse. I cannot let you near again." Slowly the shaking in his legs returned. It was so hard for him to keep the facade up.

"More likely so than when you stay." He narrowed his eyes. Did this really take her so long to figure out? His expression stayed hidden behind the golden mask on his face, hiding everything but the angry scowl on his mouth.

Don't worry. dear. Elija and Firios were with her and so were Ziara and Rachel.
I am sure, soon Moon and Trees will meet again and then Moon will be able to meet Elija, too.
