She recognized when the other was already leaving. So she followed her, but got an annoyance gesture and interpreted this as the wish to be left alone, so she came back to you guys.

Myszka sniffed Trees curiously. Something about her scent had changed; becoming more prominent. He remembered smelling the same scent on Moon and a doe at the abiogenesis statues, and his eyes became wide with surprise. It was the season for fawns, after all; when does began to show signs of child so their fawns would not be born in the dead of winter-cold. he should not have been surprised, but it was still pleasant.
"A fawn? I offer congratulations. To have little, new life stumbling around the Forest on knobbly legs is wonderful." he said happily. A distant memory of running through the Forest on two legs came back, falling into a bush and coming face-to-muzzle with a startled fawn. He pictured the same fawn lying beside Trees. Hesitantly he nuzzled her slightly rounder belly. the ways of females were a mystery to him, and he was afraid of saying something that sounded ignorant. "Do you feel it yet?"

Myszka laid his head on Trees' stomach, pressing his ear to it as if he were trying to hear anything moving inside. "If it has developed ears yet, I'm sure it loves the sound of your voice." he shifted to move his legs underneath himself and get comfortable in the grass. "Yes, do please tell me when it moves." he mumbled.

At her acceptance, Myszka was eagerness itself. I'll sing to it. And have races. And.." he trailed off. Of course, what was he thinking? It wouldn't be strong enough to go on a romp until days after the birth. There was also the father to consider. "Would Firios mind having others around?" he questioned. He hadn't met the stag yet, and thus didn't know the other's behaviour. He let Trees fix his hair, content to lay there. The late afternoon sunlight was a little hot, but near the Pond it was pleasantly cool and the grass was thick. He glanced up, noting the lowering sun.

@dragon919: You misunderstood something here. Trees is a rather instinct driven doe. Her species lives in traveling herds, where not every member is related by blood with each other. Still they trust and like each other.

"Herd" is just, what she calls every deer she trusts, but that does not come into the category of direct family (parents, siblings, mate, children, grandchildren etc). I am not sure how much of a herd it is actually, it is just her way of calling trusted friends, acquaintances etc.

For me the map is working fine but Im not sure if I see Trees' picto in the right place, cause in th game I see you with Domino probably in the birch forest but on the map I see your picto on the Crying Idol.

I remember that it happened to me a few time in the past so it might be only a glitch what caught you today ;P

The crisping sound of leaves let the kabuki-pelted look up. Her condition peaked up her senses a lot more lately. A possible sign that it wouldn’t take much longer maybe? To her calming and her greatest pleasure she spotted the small, pretty Kaoori approaching her. A welcomed guest and a mother like she was. With curiosity Trees watched the sweet smelling fruit in the others mouth. Such a ripe one was rare to see in the wild section of nature. She knew, that some humans had such plants in their ultimately claimed “territories”, and as much as she always had loved to snatch one away sometimes, the traveler knew all too well what consequences a theft of a human’s claim could have.

The more Trees was moved by the gesture of the shika doe and her offering. ”Thank you so much, my friend.” She reached for the apple, pulling it closer and started to eat it. Such taste, such sweetness, it felt like the warm rays of the summer sun, which have long gone by by now, had become liquid and caressed her tongue and throat. This was something the fawn would definitely enjoy, too.
Trees looked up after brief moment of loosing herself in the taste though.
”Where are my manners. I am sorry, Kaoori. Please, come and sit with me for while.” She gestured to the place next to her.
”How are you, and how is your family? Your twins, have they grown well? And where did you find this little treasure here?” She looked at the apple.
