When Trees finished her work she smiled at the fact that the buck fell asleep. Good to know, she still could calm someone this much. She will need this in the future afterall, too. The doe laid her head down onto the warm back of Domino, allowing herself to drift of as he had.

Well, this is all Domino's fault for being so sweet XDD

Trees felt blessed: Not only that she was visited by the cute little Myszka soon after she woke up, now her son Domino joined them, too. At his remark about her antlers she grinned sheepishly at the stag, remembering how much she missed this protection. ”Thanks! It was about time, those things would grow back. I felt a little naked and vulnerable without them.” The doe turned her head a few times to proudly represent the pair of antlers that hopefully soon would reach their usual size. ”Come, my dear. Sit with us.”A nod underlined the invitation.

It’s actually an older pic. It is her standard biography picture. I thought with the size her antlers had now it was about time to exchange the rut picture with the normal one.

Myszka nudged Trees gently with his head. A flower fell on her antlers; his ears drooped. "I have been too selfish.. You've been so kind to me, you and your family, and I have not even asked your permission about your son." He hesitated. "I'm sorry."

"Perhaps I'm just being silly.." he put his head in the grass. He was unfamiliar with the characteristically of deer, so the words reassured him. Reaching up, he took some flowers off his head, trying to tie them on Trees' antlers, becoming frustrated when they would fall off. "Hrm.." he smiled.

Myszka's face reddened. "I think so. I've been here for a few years, but sometimes I still say odd things. It's embarassing." He finally got some flowers on Trees' antlers and struggled to tie the knot. "Sometimes, I miss my hands, but I love this Forest and all its deer." He remembered Trees' words, curious. "Did you live here your whole life, Trees?"

”You could ask someone to help you with the tying.” Learning those things, she nodded thoughtfully. The doe had heard of those who were reborn into this forest, humans as much as animals. The reasons for so were different though. ”I was born outside of this forest, far away from here, up in northern areas. Our kind is called Storytellers, because of the “breath” we use to “tell” our stories and tales. We are also travelers and need to be on the move at least now and then. I ended up by chance in this place.” Since she didn’t want to disturb Myszka in his act of tying the flowers, Trees gave him some thanking licks on the chest and front legs, the only parts she could reach at the moment. ”What about you? Where were you born? What were you doing before? I mean, I’ve seen humans from far away, but what I heard about their strange and dangerous acting usually kept me at that distance. So I have never seen one in close up. ”
Feeling Rachel's tugging she looked down, smiling at the golden ones words. Now it was her daughters turn to get some cleaning licks, while Trees waited for Myszka's answer.

Closing her eyes and thinking back of the old times. Though fainted by now, the memories floated back into her mind. "Hmm, the northern areas have forests, too. There are all kind of things. Large meadows, forest of small and giant trees, too. Sometimes even mixed. The winters are usually colder, often with a lot of rain or snow, making it hard to find food or good shelter. The air is fresh, welcoming even. I wasn't born in the mountains, but when my herd wandered through them and we found a place worth staying for a while there, we did so. The sunrises and sunsets are not as big and strong in color as in southern places, but they are worth a watch. The way the light breaks on the mountain ridges and the fields takes your breath away. The summers, when they are hot, are just amazing. The winters are hard and dark, but they have their own cruel beauty, too."
She shook her head to take herself out of these thoughts and looked back at Myszka. "I believe you wanted to finish a sentence?"

Hmm, yes. I know Ploato, but I meant the deer with real deer antlers and raven mask, that bowed to us when the group jumped around this tree group here.
