After a whole childhood of wandering like a nomad, repeatedly searching for grazing places, learning from mistakes, watching my back for danger, and cautiously approaching other deer, I have become older and have gained knowledge. I have been shunned from every herd in this area. I am the unwanted. I have become lean and muscular, a traveler; always on the move. I eat whatever I find; very little of what I find is actually edible. I have stuck to the grassy fields of the birch forest for now, finding small insects and berries every now and then. Sometimes the grass, if bitten in the right spot, will yield a sweet, white liquid. This afternoon I had found Jennie and Kio together. Joining them would mean comfort; so I was more than happy to. Something told me they were surprised to see me like this after so long, but that was common. After all, I felt like I was not a child anymore. I probably did not even have an ounce of fat on my sides or neck. All I do during the day is run, walk, find food, eat, run, walk, find food, eat, hide from bigger animals, and during the night, cover myself with flowers and sleep. Of course they would be surprised to see me like this.

Hard to see through the white. Made me scared to go anywhere. Kept hearing noises in the white and it made me even more scared. I wanted mother back, but I knew she was gone. I had to be on my own from now. Someone about my age found me. He said his name was Hovis. He seemed nice, so I decided to trust him and let him lead me, because he seemed to know where to go through the white. We sat under a rock, he tried to keep me warm. Just barely, though. He fell asleep, and I was hungry, so I ran away to look for food, or the tasty milk mama had before she went cold. Found some fawns who weren't very nice; they kept rearing up at my head, trying to crush me. I escaped by running to a doe. She was warm, so I greeted her, saying the name that I usually say: 'Betsie', or what mama used to call me by. 'Herla', she said back. Sadness was in my chest because she looked just like mama. We sat down next to a tiny red tree, and she warmed me up until she fell asleep.

Betsie's human appearance: -

Biography
Name: Betsie
Gender: female
Age: new adolescent
Voice: pending...
Appearance

Species: geranook/whitetail deer
Size: a little smaller than 19
Set: butterfly antlers, butterfly pelt, mini spell
Betsie is unusually small for her size, and could not walk for a day or two after birth because of her fragile legs. The spottings on her coat are also very unusually beautiful; if you looked at her with just a glance, you would see a random pattern of spots and stripes. But if you stared hard enough at her, you'd notice that her short, soft fur resembles the patterns similar to a monarch butterfly. 'Mama', or Betsie's biological mother, had a mostly random, disproportionately patterned coat spotting, as well. This mutation was passed on to Betsie, but information about her father is curiously sought after by her as is it unknown to the rest of the forest.

Relations
Mama: Biological mother; died shortly after Betsie was born.

Acquaintances

Midznight: fond of, will seek out for warmth and protection. Likes to play with.
Kio:fond of, will seek out for warmth and protection. Feels secure around.
Jennie: curious and somewhat shocked of, has seen two of before. Will proceed with respectful caution. Eye
Cassiopeia: respects; good source of warmth and protection.
Akira: shy of; respects
Hovis: nice fawn, will keep her warm most of the time. Trusts.
Herla: very polite and motherly, good source of warmth; trusts.
Beorn: fond of the bear-stag; likes his thick, warm fur. Likes to sleep next to when cold.

Hated
Name: .

History
Betsie was born just a few weeks ago, but sadly her mother died due to health complications, leaving a confused, cold, and hungry little fawn behind. Betsie was very clingy and still sort of is because of her instincts to stay close to adult figures. Don't get offended if she runs off from your deer to another deer; she is just trying to figure out where to get food or seek out more warmth from different deer. She's willing to be cared for by anybody, though, and almost never complains about anything. If she is scared of you, she will not come back to your deer. She is strangely attracted to flowers, especially giant dandelions.

Hello! ^_^ thank you, guys!

Hello! ^_^ thank you, guys! Betsie is up for adoption right now...
she actually has a mini spell on her, but the picture was taken before she received it.
I have yet to add more information about her, as well.
If you want to adopt Betsie, please leave a comment saying:
-the name of the deer who is going to look after her, male/female
-how long the deer is going to care for her
-what family she will be brought into (if there is one)

*Betsie learns by watching what older deer do and tries to mimic it.*

Thank you again, for the comments! :]
