How could such a peaceful day turn into a horrible, bloodshed battle with just one strike of lightning?
The azure blue sky had turned into a dark gray. The wind was howling, trees moving back and forth. In the pond, a multicolored stag, Pierce had come for a drink before the rain had started. Little ripples in the pond appeared, indicating that the storm was started. But a dark and familiar smell hit Pierce's nose. He looked up, and a low growl came from his throat.
Aiatt jumped out of the bushes, snarling. Aiatt was not normal, no, he was a black deer, his soul ruined by the darkness.
What was unknown is that many black deer were watching from behind, and some of the good deer were fearfully watching what was going on from the distance. Lightning struck at least a few feet around, thunder booming in their ears. And, as if the lightning was a signal, black deer jumped out from behind Aiattaua, their main target being Pierce.
The good deer saw this, and ran to protect Pierce. And not just to protect Pierce, they were to protect the forest too. Fire bursted from Aiatt's mouth and caught a nearby tree on fire.
The battle had just begun.
---
-I have decided to do the battles in RP. However black deer will still roam the forest and bite other deer.
- Pierce, Voice, and Aiatt will be in the battle.
-You do not have to participate in the battle.
-Neutrals may do whatever they want, perhaps even join the good side.
-Black deer can control if their bites will turn their victim into a black deer or not. To make it fair, Black deer are trained so when they are in battle, their bites will only leave scars/wounds.
I don't know whether or not

It was as if a switch turned on in the dark hollowed out mind of the stag.
He sprang from the shadows & immediately locked his piercing eyes upon those of Pierces.
Seeing Pierce & the onlookers cowering before him he let out an earsplitting screeching chuckle.
"Look at you. You deserve all the pity the forest has to offer. To bad I'm not here to give it to you. I'd much rather tear you apart, piece by piece."
Rearing up he lifted his abnormally muscled torso into the air & shot out yet another earsplitting screech. This time thunder followed after it shaking fear into those unaware of what was going on.
By this time the darkness was rapidly creeping through his brain seeping into every single crevice.
"Kill, destroy, kill, destroy, this is all you know now. You are infected by the plague i created. A tool of my war... & I am your master! As the last words the king spoke to him rang through his head & echoed in the darkness he violently dug his claw like hooves into the ground unearthing whatever layed beneath. He was on the verge of reaching full insanity.
The stag let out a fury of fog that shot through the skull with every furious exhale. Full of darkness & hate he looked at Aiattaua & impatiently waited for his next move.

What is morality?
Black. White. Gray. Orange. Blue.
Morality.
There is no such thing, as morality. Mr.Sanguine is above that, above good, and above evil.
His body is curled about the trunk of a willow, simply watching, fingers curling in an idle manner in the dirt. He's far too large for any intelligent, thinking creature, to have any thought of attacking him.
He isn't here to join sides after all. Well, maybe.
That's the thing about him. He's so completely neutral. The purest form of it. He is a keeper of balance. Dark, Light, Order,Chaos.
His silver tongue slides over his lips, a yawn following, and for a moment one might glimpse every one of the pointed teeth, all in various sizes, from thumbtack to kitchen knife.
He's here as a referee more than anything. That's how he sees himself.
He's not on either side.
He's on both.
The rain was pouring hard
Meanwhile Voice charged at Insidious, snarling with anger. She did not have any antlers, however she had invisibility and hooves, and she was also already dead, so she couldn't be killed. She jumped, intending to land on Insidious and attack with her hooves and strength.
Aiattaua finally got up, the now muddy water blinding his face. Although his vision was blurry he could still see, and saw Insidious and Voice fighting. However Aiatt did not care for Insidious, just for destruction. But... where was Pierce? It was like he had simply disappeared.
but Pierce had not disappeared, he was hiding behind the bushes, watching.
( Just a little note, I don't
The doe stepped closer to the pond, slowly, and rather weak. Ever since she turned into a black deer she had been dedicated to only one thing; Find Pierce, and kill him. This meant the doe had roamed the Forest, back and forth, like a zombie. She didn't eat, she didn't drink and she barely slept. Her body was torned and beaten, bloody and ripped, but she didn't seem to notice at all. Nor did she seem to notice the fact that her great antlers had broken off - perhaps during fights, or when she ran into trees in her search for the colorful stag - and her skull mask had at some point fallen off.
For a while she just stood in the shadow of the trees, her red eyes frozen on the stag she had searched for all this time. But he was fighting someone else, so the black doe remained where she was. Some other deer had entered the scene, but they were of no interest for her; she only wanted Pierce. She suddenly raised her head, snorting. The deer Pierce had been fighting was in the water, and she had missed to figure out where the colorful stag was hiding now. The doe lifted her head, sniffing the air, and she smiled hungrily as she caught the scent of the stag, not too far away. She stomped the ground with a pointed, cracked hoof, and began to move. Soon she could spot blue and green fur hiding among the bushes, and a snarl escaped her jaws as she crouched, ready to attack.
(It's a rule, I want it to be
Pierce's ears flicked up when he heard a snarl. Without looking back he jumped out of the bushes and ran, running to the Great Oak. He wouldn't be safe there but perhaps he could trick Illrose in the chase.
Lightning flashed everywhere. The sky had turned black, as if it was night. But it was only noon, the sky was pure black for the Darkness was taking over. Thunder boomed in everyone's ears.
Pierce and Voice were surprised out how such a beautiful day can turn to this.
Hmm, storm's coming. The
The green dragoness had decided to take an evening flight around the forest to have some time to herself, and her unborn children. It felt good to stretch her wings and soar through the clouds, feeling the wind against her face and brush gently beneath her wings. However, it seemed her freedom of flight was coming to a close as dark, forboding clouds shielded the sun, refusing it to pass its warm rays down on the forest and the creatures that inhabited it. But, there was something about this storm...it seemed, different. It was as if the clouds were darker, ready to unleash a rage so powerful it would shake the earth.
Suddenly, a sour scent hit the dragoness' nostrils, making them screw up in disgust. However, her eyes grew wide in surprise as she recognized the scent, and the hairs on the back of her neck and shoulders began to bristle in alarm and anger. Honeyfur quickly did a nose dive, folding her wings to her sides in order to slice through the air, approaching the ground at a faster rate. Once she reached the canopy, her wings shot open, carrying her right above the tree tops. The storm was growing in intensity, making her flap her wings as she grew more and more anxious when the foul scent grew stronger.
Surprise hit her like a blow to the head when the trees cleared out, revealing the clearing she knew so well, to be swamped with black deer. She bared her teeth, eyebrows furrowing as anger pulsed through her veins. Her clawed hands clenched into fists as she dived diagonally to the ground, approaching the ongoing battle. She opened her muzzle, and felt the heat within her rise until it grew into an inferno, until it shot from her mouth. The fireball landed in the clearing as a small explosion, billows of smoke rising up to meet its raging cousin above. Hit or miss, the dragoness didn't care. She had four shots, now three, and the rain was starting to come down, soaking the earth in precipitation. The fire wasn't able to spread through the grass. It seemed nature was on her side.
Her green eyes swiveled to the right as she noticed a splash of blue and green on top of the dark surroundings. She dipped her right wing, sending her in the direction of the to familiar stag. She reached him within seconds, and flapped her wings vigorously in order to hover right above him.
"Pierce!" she shouted in order for her voice to be heard over the turmoil. "What are you doing?! You have to fight! You can't be a coward now!" She looked around the clearing, searching for any black deer heading their way.
Suddenly, her eyes locked with bright crimson ones. She didn't recognize that it was Illrose at first, but she still growled in anger, and let out a furious screech. Her teeth were bared as she remained hovering over Pierce, ready to come to his aid if the black deer attacked...which was inevitable.
-Black deer can control if
( ^ Quoting you. It should be the victim's choice if they turn into a black deer or not, not something the black deer control. But it is good that you want to keep this fair. ^^ And I do prefer the black deer trying to bite their victims instead of using powers. n__n )
She shook her body violently, and glared up at the black skies, snarling toward the rain that weakened her sight. A lighting flashed across the skies as she caught sight of the stag as he fled. The black deer immediately leaped forward, chasing after him. 'Kill him...destroy...destroy him!' The words repeated themselves in her mind as she ran, her hooves thundering across the wet ground, her eyes glued to the stag in the distance, barely visible through the rain. But her eyes then met with another creature, and her hooves slid in mud as she came to an abrupt halt. The black doe recognized this creature, she had seen it lurking around as she had searched for the stag earlier. She shook her head again, then tossed it in the air as she roared. Her eyes drifted away from the creature, she was not interested in it. But now Pierce was nowhere to be seen. Slowly, like a zombie, she began to walk in the direction she had last seen him running.
Pierce! What are you doing?!
As Pierce heard the familiar voice, he looked up in surprise, seeing the Dragoness in mid-air.
I cannot fight! These deer are powerful, probably much more powerful than me! We have to retreat and fight back when we are ready. Pierce yelled back. His fur turned into black skin and wings grew from his back. He was now in the air, safe from Illrose, and now two dragons were in the sky.
They attack... out of nowhere... Pierce said in a rushed voice.
Meanwhile Aiatt had gotten the mud out of his face and his head was swinging back and forth, looking for Pierce. Two scents- one would be Pierce's- hit his nose, and he looked up to see him and a stranger dragon in the air. Luckily Aiatt could reach them without flying. He got out of the pond and ran to Illrose's side, breathing black fire. Luckily he missed, and the fire just missed Pierce by a few feet. However it was not clear if Honeyfur had been hit.
Illrose- "To make it fair,
I also made them have powers for a reason.
I cannot fight! These deer
"What?! These black deer won't wait for another fight! We might no get another chance like this again!" She was taken aback by his new form however. It felt strange not being the only dragon hybrid now, and even stranger and a little degrading to be the smallest. When standing on her hind legs, she was only a few feet taller than the average person. This new black dragon towered over her, and she felt a little indignant about it.
However, now was not the time for jealousy, for Illrose was fast approaching them. Green eyes locked with red once more, and the inferno built up inside her, ready to be unleashed on the black deer charging straight toward them. Although, she didn't get to finish her attack, for she then saw black flames shooting their way in her peripheral vision. She quickly barrel rolled out of the way of the fatal black flames. However, a lick of the flames caught her in the side, giving her a burning scar. She roared in anger and pain from the second degree burns, and fixed her piercing eyes on her attacker.
"Two can play at that game," she growled at the black, elephant-deer. She opened her mouth, feeling the fire within her build and build, until the orange flames shot out, lapping at the air and streaming straight toward the black deer in front of her.
What?! These black deer won't
Now new thoughts stirred in Pierce's mind as he hovered in the air. His original plan was to retreat, find out how these black deer worked, and then one day sneak attack on them like they did today. But before he could say anything the flames shot in front of him. Growling, he stared at his attacker, Aiattaua.
Two can play at that game!
Pierce watched as orange flames blew from her mouth. At the same moment, black fire burst from Aiatt's mouth, and when the black and orange flames reached, they created an explosion. Aiatt's chest had minor burns, but the explosion had not effected him that much. Pierce had saw the explosion coming and flew right to Aiatt. The fire from the explosion had burned Pierce's tail, but he did not care and roared, orange flames coming from his mouth. Aiatt was clumsy to move out of the way, and he had almost burned to his death. But Aiatt was determined to kill Pierce and the forest, and kept shooting fireballs.
(I'm sorry if the explosion seemed godmoddy)
( I know about that part. It
The black doe stopped, ignored the thunder and lighting that exploded over her head as she turned her head and looked at her companion. Then her eyes watched those that were flying in the air. Once, the doe would have envied them their dragon forms. She would have found it extremely unfair that they had their forms in the forest while she had not, while she was turned into a weak deer. She would have envied them their wings and their abilities, but now she did not care what they looked like. 'Kill Pierce' was still the words that rang in her head. But now that he was in the air - out of reach - the black doe pretty much ignored Pierce, just as she ignored the other dragon. She stopped, tried again to shake the rain out of her fur, but since it was pouring from the skies it was useless.
(Not at all! Neat effect
The dragoness hadn't anticipated the explosion that would follow. The shock waves sent her "flying" backwards, more burns on her chest and shoulders. Fortunately her wings weren't affected, and so she spread them to their full length to keep herself above the ground, and flapped them vigorously as she tried to slow her momentum. After this, she did an abrupt about face and flew back in the direction of the fight. A fireball shot from her mouth, straight at the elephant-deer. Hopefully he wouldn't dodge, because now Honeyfur only had two shots left, and then she would have to rely on her wits and skill.
(I have to head out right now, so I'll reply when I get back ^^)
(Can Natali join?If she can't
Natali was in the Pond enjoying the water when she heard fighting. She ran over to see if she could help and then gasped at what she saw."Pierce!Honeyfur! What are you guys doing??"Then she remembered about the black deer."I need to kill one to change them back.."She thought.

He blinked slowly at the explosion. Interesting. He would remember that for the future.

He spoke, to nobody in particular, voice strange, distorted, neither male nor female, maybe both, speaking at once.

"The middlegame shall come soon. And then the endgame"
He yawned widely, teeth uncurling once more before being hidden away.

Unfortunately, Aiatt had dodged, now much more alert now that he was badly burned. If he was to serve his king and defeat Pierce, he mustn't die.
IN the corner of Voice's eye, she saw an explosion. Pierce! She hollered, recognizing the black dragon in the midst of the explosion. Luckily he was alright, with just a burnt tail. However Voice had stopped fighting Insidious, leaving her valuable for an attack.
Pierce heard a young doe's screams. He whipped his head to Natali, who had been enjoying the waters.
We'll be fine... don't worry about us! He yelled back.
Aiatt then realized that he had not used another of his powers yet. Three lightning bolts struck down, flashing from the sky. One hit Pierce and he fell to the ground, unconscious. The black dragon's body fell to the ground with a thump, and he slowly turned to his original form, the multicolored stag. Aiatt growled, walked towards Pierce's body. He started to get excited when he thought he was dead, until he saw him breathing. He snarled, showing his giant fangs, and was about to sink them into his flesh.
PIERCE! GET AWAY FROM HIM! Voice hollered as she ran to Pierce's unconscious body, forgetting about Insidious.
(wow, that was hard, trying to reply to everyone at once.)

The black deer let go and snarled, three lightning bolts came down, crashing. However none struck Natali, they had surrounded her in a circle. Then a single lightning bolt came down, aiming at the young doe.
The black deer's glowing red eyes seemed to sparkle as he saw the lightning come down.
(sorry if that seemed a bit godmoddy)
As the rain poured & thunder
"Stay out of the way lady. I'd hate to see your pretty little heart laying torn out in the mud."
Jerking his tusk free he walked a few paces, water & mud trickling from his unkept pelt.
As he looked over his shoulder at the downed doe he noticed something strange about her. "what the hell was she? She wasn't a normal doe.... Damn it Insidious get your head in the game. You must find Pierce!"
Violently shaking his matted black scruff he stalked towards the other black deer. Just as he did he was hit with a sudden burst of heat that sent him stumbling backwards, burns scorching his vulnerable skin as darkly colored blood dripped from his bare chest.
He was shocked to see the fiery burst shooting from Aiatt engulfing everything it touched."what was he trying to do. Kill his own kind?!".
Unaware Aiatt was fighting the two dragons hidden by the dark clouds the stag furiously bolted towards Aiatt. Yet another burst of flame came firing down, but this time it seemed to come from the clouds.
It was only then that he noticed the greenish hew coming from the dragonlike creature. "Who is that... better yet what is that?"
Another figure appeared in the sky next to the green dragon. This one was much larger & just as dark as the darkest cloud.
Confused Insidious stumbled slipping into the mud, questions racing through his mind. As he stood blood now slowing to a slow trickle down his chest he could only wonder.
What the hell is that! It smells like Pierce but it cant be! Deer dint just grow wings! Dazed & confused the stags mental state left him vulnerable as he stood, blood slowly mixing with mud.

As of right now if your char is bitten by him they will remain the same but be affected by the flesh wounds he causes.)
As Insidious stood watching the disorganized tactics of the others he seized his chance.
Lighting lashed out as he thrashed his head to one side scraping Voices hind leg from underneath her causing the doe to fall painfully hard upon the muddy surface.
With his tusk still entangled with her leg he stood towering over her overturned body, water dripping from his skull plated face onto hers one slow drip at a time.
As the rain poured & thunder rang the stag lowered his head inches from hers & snorted out a foul smelling plume of fog.
"Stay out of the way lady. I'd hate to see your pretty little heart laying torn out in the mud."
Jerking his tusk free he walked a few paces, water & mud trickling from his unkept pelt.

Black Paper Moon had done
The Great Hollow Tree, as she called it, was no longer full of mooing fawns and dancing, greeting, annoying deer, but just a faded bundle of twigs.
O-App-Pesi, the priestess, had given her some grief today when the red pelted doe literally chaced her away from the Ruins, screaming, "begone foul demon!"
Blacky was far from 'demon', she was just a deer, why could no one see that? Of course, in her mind, she was a deer. But in reality, she is a Cell Born, a black mass crafted by the hands of men, and inserted into a deer body. The particle strugture of the mass was unstable, and corrupted her body. She was not a Black Deer, no, but she looked like one.
Dry earth clung to her black pelt as she stood stretched, and yawned, a long silver tounge coiled around her maw. What a boring day... And as far as Blacky could see, the weather sucked as well. But being partailly blind, she was never positive what the weather was. Misty? Foggy? Rainy?
Her red orbs were clouded over with a grey thing, another side-effect of being a Cell Born. And did I forget to mention the mass amount of daily sezures? But there are worse things still to come. For now, Blacky was happy with who she was, the scull-faced sharp-toothed black-pelted monster.
Strolling through the forest; she let her silver snake-tongue hang loose from the protruding structures of ivy-shaped clasping death-grips. And the doe-beast had an idea.
She failed to examine the Lake. Perhaps there was some amusement to be had there?
A low branch snagged onto one of the red twines of rope idily hanging from her pelt. B.P.M huffed in annoyance. These threads were all over her body, stitching her together like a rag doll. Even on her skull-jaw, they bound her lips.
With a tug, she freed herself from the clutches of the branch and came face-to-face with a... A fire? At the Lake? Blacky sped up to a gallop, dodging black blurrs her vision failed to recognize.
The black doe had to narrow
Black Paper Moon started to
Black Paper Moon started to run, her hoove-claws splashed in the muddy water, her black pelt of silk was now a black and brown pelt of mud. She heard sounds of fighting, a deer here, deer there, Blacky was confused; but it seemed that the pitch black deer were the bad ones, she watched as they fought, rage and bloodlust powered them, propelled them foreward with their sharp antlers bared and maws wide, their eyes were wild. And that meant they weren't friends.
She turned, surveying the battlefield. Her poor vision could make out little, but she was sure there was a black deer standing over a downed stag; the limp body sunk in the mud.
Though she was mainly neutral, she felt she had to defend this deer. After all, these black deer were destroying one of the landmarks of the forest: And she gave each breath she had to protect them.
Defying the black doe, she stepped in front of the downed stag, baring her sharp, jagged fangs.

She snorted, and stomped lightly, if her body got trashed, she wouldnt care. The black liquid substance that was her blood would merely either patch the body up, if its not too damaged, or find another host. So over the years, shes gotten careless with the doe body, like a sixteen year old teenager learning how to drive, thinking she was good enough, she literally had been chopped to pieces, beheaded, and drowned. But this also granted her the priceless gift of experiance.
Her skull head bobbed as she mock-bowed to the opposer, a snigger played on her red-stitched lips; The mangy half-blind croon thought;
Aiatt snarled, showing his
Even though he had been badly burned, he was as careless as Blacky was. He could be torn to the bone, but he had to kill Pierce.
He roared, charing at Blacky with his black, sharp antlers. He leaped and intended to bite Blacky on the neck. However Blacky would still be her normal self, not changed at all.

She got hit in the head many times, and finnaly blood started flowing from her mouth, she then turned silent and fell livelessly to the ground. The blackness of her started slipping away, and she was getting her colors back.
Black Paper moon jumped back,
She steeped away from the fight quietly, and turned to face Pierce. "H-hey? You alright?" She nudged him with a clawed hoof.

Panicked & bleeding the black stag shot off to wards the shadows.
Black fur meeting black night was all it took for the stag to seemingly fall off the face of the earth.
Why was he running? He was built to fight.... but something deep down inside him, deeper than the blackness of his curse told him one thing. "Flee! He who fights and runs away may live to fight another day."
Putting his head down in disgust he collapsed to the mud stricken earth. Lifting his head he roared, " You have not won Pierce. You have not seen the last of me."
A sly grin crossed his face as he chuckled envisioning Pierce struggling beneath his fangs. Screaming for forgiveness.
(I am going to end this
Pierce struggled up. It is a dangerous place here. I am Pierce, but it is no time to introduce each other. You have no idea- Pierce was cut off when he saw the last two black deer on the field running.
Aiatt was badly burned and covered in bruises, and even though he wanted to kill Pierce on the battlefield, he knew he was much too weak to do it. He had to flee, even if they would lose this battle.
Pierce stood up. He quickly transformed into a dragon again, and he flew into the air. Ignaciaqua, who was hiding in the pond and watching the battle the whole time, jumped up and sprayed the fire away with her water powers. She jumped back in, and lurked deeper inside the water.
Pierce roared, fire burst into the air, as if this was a sign of victory.
The Good deer have won.
