Hehehe, the deer with the 'bruises' is my 'nameless one'. He's not sad, just irritable sometimes and not always interested in the doings of other deer. (unless he's hungry or thinks they smell tasty....) He is amused by fawns though and enjoyed your company while he lounged in the water and tried to tear down the over-sized dandelions to drag under a log for decomposing.
