I don't know but try checking these when you upload:

maximum dimensions - 100x100 px
maximum size - 50 kB
The page:
when you are in the 'Edit' option and upload your image, make sure you also fill in the 'Confirm password' box before clicking the 'Save' button. Without typing your password in there it doesn't save the changes you made.
