Avatar Help

For some reason my avatar doesn't want to change. I've followed the steps of Trigger's tutorial, but everytime the file name for the pic is uploaded, it either doesn't show up, or it goes right back to my old avie (after I've deleted it).

This may or may not be deleted after I find help, in case someone else might find it useful C:

Hmm, my old one is still

Hmm, my old one is still appearing. I've hit the delete box and saved it, then I went back to upload the new avie and saved it, but then my old avie reappeared o-o I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong, I just don't know what >>;

Reload it, as in, not deleting the old avie? Because everytime I upload it my old one appears.

Is there an error or pop-up or something when you try to upload your avatar? What does it say?

Just upload your new avatar,

Just upload your new avatar, go to the normal "view" of your userpage, and if you don't see the new one, reload the page.

No error/pop up, it just

No error/pop up, it just keeps reuploading my old avie when I'm actually uploading a whole different pic O.o

Pega: I've done that several times now, and it's still not working.
I don't know why it wouldn't work for me. Could it have something to do with the file?

Hmm, I was trying it now and it seems it really has to do something with the file.
I was able to replace my avatar with all but one pictures I tried. That one was uploading my old avatar, which is, as you say, exactly the same problem you have.
Try to upload another picture, just to see, if it works.

Actually I have this problem before. And not once. And not only with avatars. I don't know why this happening, but I can tell that you need just wait. Maybe it will take a long time, but you will see it anyway.

Huh, I'm on my main computer now, and I see my old one still...
I'll try out what you said PLK. I might have to rename it and see if that works.

Edit: Tried it on a different pic, and the same thing keeps happening....
I really hope my account isn't "glitched" or something...if this keeps happening I might have to email Michael and Auriea, and they're busy enough as it is...but I know I won't want to have the same avatar on my account forever :C

^ Did that too and it didn't work for me either. I don't know what the problem is. I've changed my avatar before and had no trouble with it.
I've renamed the one I want to use, but it's still not showing.
I don't know why it's choosing to show up on some devices but not others >>

I think I'll have to send an email to Michael and Auriea. I really hate to do that, but it appears it's the last option I have :C
