Attention all vista users

I need your help. I'm having problems running the endless forest on my computer. It uses vista, but I also play on my laptop that uses XP and it starts no problem.

see, what happens when I start it the screen turns black for about 3 sec.s then I get a black screen with a pointer on it ( the regular white mouse pointer, not the leaf one ) I ctrl+alt+delete and start up the task manager and it says that forest viewer.exe ( or what ever it's called ) is not running. Help?

I think you might need to try playing TEF as the administrator, I had some trouble with that before.

Instead of double clicking

Instead of double clicking the desktop icon for TEF, you'd right click the icon and select the option 'run as administrator'.

nope no good, I still get

nope no good, I still get the black screen of death with the white mouse, I'm downloading the new directx, but I don't think that that's the problem. It has worked before, but not now.

That is odd

That is odd *ponders*...perhaps try asking around the forums , hopefully someone there will have some advice!
