I'm a fan, found the books at random. Though I got confused because I decided to read the first though third book than read the new book out at the time. I haven't seen the movie in fear it would suck thought.

Go see the movie! It doesn't suck, but...
-Kludd doesn't become Metal Beak.
-Soren's parents don't die.
-Owls can't move their eyes.
-And plus, Barn Owls don't have yellow or blue eyes.
Other than those, the movie is awesome. For people who haven't seen it yet, go get it NOW!!

The metal beak part kinda kills the story for me. But I will see if I can find the movie, the animation looked pretty awesome as well.
