Right then, I've been debating this for quite some time. Anyone who has read Khalid's Bio would know that Khalid had a son before he came to the forest. He was actually separated from his son during the run from the creatures that attacked him and his heard and has since thought his son to be dead. Of course, this isn't 100% the case. In actuality his son was separated and is desperately trying to find his father.

Khalid's Bio

I don't truly have a set 'look' for his son, much less a name in thought. The general basics are, he is like his father. A sort of Hippogryph type creature with deer instead of horse, whether he has the wings, etc. or not is completely up to who wishes to play him. I'm really out to let the person who volunteers to go with how they wish for him to look so long as he follows the basics of a Bird Like Deer/Creature like his father.

Of course, with this he will have an adopted Sister :3 (IE: Blue) And there won't be a Motherly figure unless a doe wishes to adopt him in as her own (Though I could see Gwen as being a semi-motherly figure due to being Blue's adopted mother)

Mostly this is for a little extra boost to things, since Khalid is a strong character that I feel for I'd more so enjoy someone else playing his son. And the way I see it, he can be named, customized, etc. to play to your style and the only thing I ask for is what I said above. Now to see if there are any takers >_>

Hopefully others will show some interest in this ._.;;;;;;; don't be afraid or shy guys, I don't bite XD But if no one else comes in then this might just turn into an easy "You two are it!" sorta thing.

Notice: I've decided I will take TWO sons for Khalid, it seems the best choice for me seeing as it would be SO hard for me to choose just one. Also, if you're character isn't picked to be Khalid's son DO not worry! You could keep the character to use as you're own, maybe the character was someone from the same herd who ended up like Khalid, lost in a new forest. Or maybe it could be a brother to Khalid :3 There's many choices! Of course, their personalities will likely differ, which makes them brothers/siblings <3 So have fun~

The General Basics: Character Designing

Since you have shown interest, your task is to write a description of what your ideal thoughts of Khalid's son would be. His appearance, how you'd picture him in Game, giving him a name and bringing him to life in your eyes. Be as detailed, descriptive AND imaginative as possible. I adore details, I love even the smallest of things! It really adds to the character as a whole, and it will help me envision the two that would best suit Khalid's offspring.

What I am looking for in this? A description of how he looks, it can be in a story like RP or just a post to this journal. When all of those whom have showed interest posted a description I will post a small "Khalid" scenario, and that is where the real fun will begin.

Some minor facts about him
- Khalid was the Heir to the herd, a 'Prince' of sorts. Thus, his son would be a 'Prince' as well in the general regard.
- His Mother was taken from him when he was a young fawn. The doe that was his mother suffered a degrading illness during a harsh winter and it finally took her life.
- Without his mother, the other does of the Khalid's Herd adopted him in as their own. Thus he is used to many does as a mother and shows great affection towards them.
- He's a bit spoiled due to the fact that he lost his mother and had so many motherly figures.
- He looked up to his Grandfather and wanted to grow up to be "Just Like Him"
- When it comes down to it, he's deathly afraid of being alone and will more often than not seek any form of company he can.
- Wolves Howling, Darkness, Rain, etc. Scare him as it reminds him of how he was separated from his father.
- He prefers the company of Fawns and Adult Does to stags.
- Highly Attracted to any deer that wears the Magpie Pelt or Peacock Mask.

The First Challenge: Character Designing Phase

What are you to do in this 'challenge' you may ask. The basics are simple, come up with an Introduction post for your Character. Give the general basics for how the character flows in the world of The Endless Forest and give him a life all his own. Age wise can be anything you wish from a young fawn to a teenager. Khalid's son won't be a stag just quite yet, thus he will still be the childish character he's meant to be.

Give your Story Telling skills a test. It can be done in a Comic Form, Story form or just in the simple drawing of an image. What you do and how you create the piece is completely up to you. Once you are done with this task you may then move onto the next challenge.

The Second Challenge: Character Introductions/Scenario

Given below is a Scenario for you to use the Son in and have him interacting with Khalid. Does he know who Khalid is? That is completely up to you, give some thought into this part. How does he tell if Khalid is his father? How does he tell Khalid that he's related to him if he knows that Khalid is his father. Khalid himself will not acknowledge his son just yet, however he will likely see there is a meaning behind someone who looks almost like him in this forest.

Once again, this can be done in a Story Format, a Roleplaying Reply or an image if you desire. Whatever you do make sure you put a lot of meaning into the post.

Really, the bird like stag had found his way to the pond, head lowered in the water as he slowly took his time to drink. He wasn't with family or friends today, rather feeling the need and want to be alone. Tail slowly lowered down behind him as he was lost in his own thoughts. Recalling all the events that took place before he came to this forest. He lost them, lost everyone... the entire Herd was gone. Glancing up towards the sky and then, back to the shoulder parts that had small feathers hanging from them he sighed deeply. If only he could take flight again, enjoy the air and wind rushing through fur and feathers alike.

If only... he knew he still had some family out there. He adored his adopted family, taking and tending to Blue as if she was his biological daughter. The young doe brought him great joy when she was around but there was still that hint of misery in the sense that... he lost his only son. Sighing some Khalid moved along, tromping through the water causing it to splash on up. Bowing to those who came towards him in greeting and then carrying on along his way to find a patch of Purple Flowers to lay in. Watching the butterflies dance in the air as he chuckled softly. Ah, that brought some pleasure to his uneasy feelings "Another day will come to an end soon... and I will still be in this forest... waiting... for any signs."

The Third Challenge: Scenario One

Below is a scenario for you you react to. This is something that will not only bring Khalid out but it will also work in introductions of the Family that Khalid shares his life with. Your task? Show how your son would interact with those that Khalid has come to consider his family, bring his reactions to life with others and show how he would fit into the family as a whole. What happens in your Scenario can be entirely up to you! An attack, something happening, whatever... you can have fun with it just no hurting of the characters all right?

Once again, this can be in a Story Format, Roleplaying Reply or a Image of your choice. Once this task is completed, there will be the Final Challenge... and that one, will wait for awhile.

The feathery stag had taken his time and grew to cherish those in which he called his family. He adored the one he adopted as a daughter more than anything and when he was around her, and the one she'd chosen as her mate, he felt at peace. Khalid had stationed himself near the Crying Idol, watching down the hill as his daughter and the rest of the family frolicked in the lush green grass, chasing butterflies or gathering flowers to play with. A small breeze blew by and the stag chuckled out softly when a bird decided to take a home on one of his antlers. It was a beautiful day... and he was doing what he remembered his father doing long before himself. Watching his family, watching his 'herd' and making sure no harm will come to them. There was just an ever watchful eye, like any bird... keen on making sure nothing were to happen.
