1. What is your full name? Do you have a nickname?
Francisca Castells Lyra is the name I was once given. Though my real name is Flyra.

2. How old are you? When is your birthday?
I am 22, my birthday is the 7th of September.

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?
I was born in England, raised by Spaniards, moved to various European countries, now I live in Germany. I can’t really say I’m patriotic. Though I feel somewhat related to the countries where I resided for longer.

4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
I got no idea, probably an African and a white one, regarding my skin’s color. Raised in an orphanage, I was never told how I got there and I don’t remember anything more. I got adopted by a nice Spaniards (Matilde Lyra Santiso and Raúl Castells Caballero) and couple though, who where good photographers and moved around a lot. They weren’t the best parents, but I surely couldn’t complain. I left them when I was still a teenager though…

5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
My twin sister Fryla and younger sister Sunfyra. They both made it out of the orphanage too, and I still hold contact with them.

6. What is your occupation?
I sing. Yeah, that can make you get enough money to live even if you’re not really famous, too. Okay not really, but I don’t own other ‘serious’ jobs. I perform at certain parties or evening festivals, but when there are no offers I have to apply for other casual work for a certain period of time.

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?
I’m quite small, just 1,72 m. I don’t know and don’t care about my weigh, but I’m pretty thin so it can’t be too much.

8. What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?
Brown hair, I like to dye some strands green. My eyes are green, not an idea where I got that from.

9. What is your race?
Probably half African, half English. My parents’ relationship must have been cursed… Maybe that’s why they gave up on me and my sisters…

10. To which social class do you belong?
Uhh... I don’t know? I’m not very rich though. Not even slightly. But I own a flat and enough money to spend my free time on things which I enjoy.

11. Do you consider yourself to be attractive? Do others?
Uhh, if I work hard, I think so, a little. Dunno about others. Well, I’m pretty sure at least Loque does. *chuckles*

12. What is your style of dress?
Colorful shirts, tops, trousers, skirts, everything that’s comfortable. If I can effort it occasionally, I love wearing clothes by the Spanish trade mark ‘Desigual’.

13. Do you have any scars? Tattoos? Birthmarks? Other unique physical features?
Not really. Am not that special, I guess. *shrugs*

14. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Mhh, rarely any. I react a bit allergic to furry animals, though. Mostly to cats.

I write like a left-handed with my right hand, it looks awful, but I somehow can’t seem to get rid of that habit.

16. What does your voice sound like?
You notice the slight African touch in it. I don’t want to show off here, but it sounds pretty good when I’m singing.

Wannabe-poetical ones. *grins* No, actually it’s rather just the normal one?

- I’m always either just right or too early for an arrangement. Just not if it’s early in the morning, then I’m usually always too late. *chuckles*
- I love being on my own. I am usually very sceptical towards arrangements with friends to hang out or just spend some time together, but in the end I always enjoy them a lot.
- I love traveling and spend most of my money for it.

19. How often do you bathe? Do you wear perfumes?
Every day at least! *grins* And I only wear perfumes to any special evenings or performances of myself.

20. What kind of facial expression do you commonly wear (dour glare, wry smile, etc)?
I don’t see my own face all that often, but I think I usually look tired. *sighs* I try to smile most of the time when I’m outside of the house, though.

Uh well, I guess some random hand flails when trying to explain something or… what do you mean…

Not that I am aware of… Haha, a random slang term I use to say when something doesn’t go the way I want to is “Oiy wey” … *snickers*

CHILDHOOD

Having to clear the toilets in the orphanage with my teethbrush because I did something silly… Awrgh dudes.

24. How much schooling have you had? Did you enjoy it?
Went to school in England, later my new family taught me everything I needed to know. They may not have known how to raise a child properly, but instead, they knew everything else…

25. Where did you learn most of your knowledge and skill?
As said, from my Spanish adoptive parents, I guess.

26. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Exciting… yeah, I really can’t complain.

27. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Something artistic, never something boring like an officer or such…

I think some guy from the orphanage? He was my best friend, and we were wanting to try it out one day just like adults…

I don’t even have an idea who my parents are. So I really can’t tell.

Meeting Loque… Mhh.

Leaving my Spanish parents. It was a hard decision.

Almost forgetting the lyrics of a song at a performance of mine! Well, I actually did forget them but I tried not to show it and just to sing random stuff that came into my mind. Everyone seemed a bit confused when I sang, “And the windows over there are just as great as you are, guys, ‘cause I can see the discolights reflecting in both’s eyes” within a romantic love song. So random. *gigglefits*

35. Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
I hide an elephant in my basement, one of the only animals I don’t react allergic towards and I wanted a pet so badly!

Pushing people away from me who loved me, but which I couldn’t stand anymore… I think.

There were certain situations when I was traveling with my Spanish parents in bad locations…

Uhh, too many to list. I can’t remember all of them either. Mostly Europe though. My biggest wish is to visit the country where probably one of my parents came from, Africa…

BELIEFS

That depends on the situation. Though one could call me rather an optimist, yes.

I really don’t know. I think the idea of a god was created by humans for humans who needed to be hold together when in desperation, who were in need to be given something to cling to, to hope to. So I’m hoping that there is one sometimes when I am one of those humans, so that my requirement of help can be heard and … well, helped.

42. Do you believe in an afterlife?
Would be awesome, actually! *chuckles* But I do not really believe in it.

43. What is your greatest fear?
Not getting along in life anymore, seeing as everything you’ve worked so hard for collapses around you… And death, of course. Not so much mine, but rather those’s which I love.

Various situations, or pictures which picture those emotions. I could start crying just by seeing a sad painting, or a photography of someone crying.

Everyone contains both, that for sure.

I don’t give a damn about that. That may sound naïve, but I really don’t think I am. But I can’t stand how leadership is so close to popularity, and for most politicians the latter seems to be much more important which won’t help the country to be brought further … but oh, I’m not really rambling about politics here? I said I don’t give a damn! *grins*

Gambling… is fine as long as you’re aware of what you’re doing.
Lying… is necessary sometimes, but always just to make the one in front of you feel better.
Theft and killing… no, please.

What beliefs, and who would challenge them?

Such a shame you can’t live without it.

There are many, but I think it’s Loque, yeah. Even though… *voice fades and stops*

I respect a couple of people who showed me their honesty with life, me and themselves… And I despise none in particular, I think.

Yes. Loque. Because.

One could say so, even though I’m not that often out anymore. A best friend would be hard to name, b-b… b-b-but… *voice trembles and breaks down again*

Umm… always trying to be good with them?

Same as above… If they do so to me, that is.

I-I really can’t define that. Loque is so different from what I always thought I’d expect in a man, but still we get along so well I could never explain. That’s just how love goes, I guess.

Very close to my sisters, got no idea about who the rest of my family even is. And my adoption family… They still visit me sometimes, but actually it’s never much of a close meeting between family members.

Yes.

I’d always avoid conflict.

A listener. Can talk quite much, too, though.

Artistic stuff, like singing of course, drawing, writing etc. …

I love everything of that sort!

Try to avoid all of it… There are other, better, less dangerous ways to spend your life on.

That usually varies a lot. A lot of performances take place Saturday nights, though.

Depends on the thing I have to pay attention to, I guess – oh, and have you read about that terrible accident in the newspapers last days?

Laughing is awesome! I find the littlest, ridiculous things to laugh my a’’ off, actually. *giggles*

Personal, deliberate attack…

I start talking to myself in all languages I own knowledge of… That is usually so challenging (I should really refresh them), that I can concentrate on the things to fix again, without overreacting.

It’s enough. I actually can run very fast and long and swim very well… Ball game skills are fine, not too great, but everything else classified as sports is terrible, truly.

I love animals! I wish I weren’t allergic so often…
Children are awesome, too.

Spontaneity is great, though if I’m in a rather bad mood I truly need to a good plan to get me through the day.

I wish I were able to… Though sometimes, when my allergies are not that bad at a certain state of time, I love spending my time with the animals from the vet in my street or with taking out friends’ or neigbours’ dogs or such…

Ahh, I really hate telling such about myself! It is so hard to tell, and I still got no real answer for that.

I’d love being at least a bit more outgoing and self-confident… *sighs*
