Hmm... someone posted a painting of a labyrinth they did saying that'd be pretty cool(I don't remember who posted it now though, unfortunately). I'd have to go with their idea, I think it'd a really rad addition.
A place with trees, large ones, huge, with nice large roots and sloping branches so that you could get up into them, maybe a tropical bird or two to come sit in your tines. ♥
I'd like a sort of ruin...not like the cathedral ruins that's already in the forest though.
A tiny area with bones maybe (could be just as small as a mushroom ring) that are covered with vines or flower buds, and birds would sit on them like in the birch forest.
...or a small forest of dead trees that darkens as you go further, like in the Path. That'd possibly cut out some of the tranquility though.
I also like oasises and stuff. A mystical cherry blossom treeee...

Now that I think of it.. maybe a desert-ish area. Peaceful and dry.
I'd like to see some other weather options as well, like it would be cool if we'd have windy days.. although that's not a place, so I'll shut up |D;;
I would love a feature that would make deer trails in areas that players travel often, I find myself walking the same paths over the years that I've been here and I think it would be cool if there was some way to represent that travel in The Forest even after I'm gone.
I'd like an old, walled-in garden. Maybe a place connected to the ruins and bridge, somewhere you can walk around that maybe has distinct flowers and maybe a few places to sit. Maybe there are butterflies that flutter around and vines that hang from the old bricks, and possibly a little fountain with a koi or two.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a little circular meeting place, where it's dug in a little and rises up using steps kind of like this. Just a little somewhere that we all can gather to, maybe a place designated for relaxing or meditating.
I think we all want the same - to see our forest BIG.
It's like you were child, that grown up and your room became too small for you. You still lowe it, with all that funny pictures on the walls, but one day you realise that you need some place to grow...

Anyway, I always think about field, but with some white stuff, like ox-eye daisys.
And i wanna see in forest some magic places, hiden in the woods or mountains. There should be stones with glowing runes on them and some sparks and maybe little fairys. ^^
Some kind of an area you can select to 'save your set' would be nice. Something with a menu maybe for 'slots'.. Unfortunately they seem to have already made their mind up on this one. For whatever reason I always imagined it as an old moss covered park bench.
