La likes birds. For a long time she wondered what these were and had a few ideas before Unplugged/Ben helped her out by confirming that they are blue tits. So this is the result of a lot of bird watching. Click for full size.
Another Easter bubble. So exciting.
On Easter, La found Tanpopo and Twist and blew bubbles with them.
La searched for and found some eggs on Easter. They were delicious.
Good Friday. After Stitches' and Arcus' wedding I went looking for a shot with bats in it and this was the artsiest one that I was able to catch. I've always loved the dragonflies in the pond and the reflection effects. Click for full size.

La with Vaq on Mardi Gras. Lost this one for a while and just found it looking through my easter screenshots. La and Vaq are pranking buddies.
At Stitches' and Arcus' wedding, everyone dyed themselves red, and at one point we were dancing to form an aisle. Such a lovely day.

Ah, to be pranked. Was turned into a frog but ultimately became a weed.
After the Mardi Gras show, La found fireflies. I just shamelessly love the colors of the confetti, sky, and how they look with the flowers. Also intended as something of a callback to the screenie of La playing with butterflies as a fawn.
Later in the same day of Mardi Gras, La standing in the same spot but framed differently. I caught it at the right moment when she was just looking around.
La standing on The Point of Origin early in the morning of Mardi Gras. It's her favorite place. 
Jennie was one of the first deer La found on Mardi Gras and she turned and gave La such a look.
La with one of the gods in godball form around 4AM PST on Mardi Gras. An extremely religious moment for her.
La goofed off with Flyleaf, Jennie, Kio, and others that she didn't know. It was quite a party and at one point everyone became one huge dancing deerball. Flyleaf kept falling out. 
La and Sabel take a snooze in blueberries.
With the grass textures disabled the ground renders as white, making it look like snow. Took this on a snowy day so it's double the fun.
La tolerates the rain without growing moss. Her coat is decently waterproof but not coldproof.
La and her friend the Kind Stranger once slept under this rock during a thunderstorm when she was a fawn. You can see it in the 2010 collages.
From a day when La and many deer became rabbits.

La and her buddy Vaq had a very delightful and aromantic Valentine's Day.
On Valentine's day when it was raining red flowers and there were giant dandelions (visible in the far background) this red one fell over La's chest when she was at her favorite spot.
Mushrooms in general remind La of a deer who kept her safe as a fawn under a mushroom, the same deer she knows as The Kind Stranger.
When it was rainy, La took the book under some toadstools to read.

La's/my first experience with tulips. She wanted to eat all of them.
La's very first time meeting Smiling Jack. She was totally baffled and amazed by his ability to climb.
"Dear Gods, it's me La; Why did you make it so cold?"
Sometimes it takes a while to notice when it first starts snowing.
La with a vision of her own adulthood and also with the Kind Stranger who kept her company through a thunderstorm. She never learned their name but cares a a lot for them.

La's only companion for a very long time in the 3.41 beta, which was a mostly empty and haunted forest for La and my bad internet. This was a very meaningful interaction for me. I do not know the player nor the name of the deer.
She never did catch 'em.
Vipin was the first deer La made contact with. She was extremely leery about sitting near him because of his mask but eventually got up the courage to "casually" sit next to him.

Dumping Mardi Gras
La ran into Flyleaf fast, she knows his picto and sought him out because he is a constant source of fun. Because he had become part swan today, I called him Swanleaf in my head the whole time.
The first time I saw the new swan antlers.
Brand new koi pelt. Everyone was so understanding and sweet about me taking screens of them.
Cuddles with Swanleaf after he turned La into Swanla. while some deer with the barn owl pent frolic in the back. At the time we thought they were cheetah pelts or giraffe or something and later I thought oh duh owl.

Jennie gave me this look. It made me laugh hysterically.
Koi mask is my favorite mask in the game now.

This file is called felineowlmask.jpg because at the time I hadn't figured out what it was.
First glimpse of owl antlers was an unfortunate angle. In my defense I hadn't slept in order to be around for Belgian time.
Koifawn also cracked me up. I said in another thread where I posted this that I just wanted to toss him bread crumbs all day and I'll stand by what I said.
There was special music on the hill.

Last batch of Mardi Gras
A plane flew over The Ruins where La had been relaxing and she bolted to this area where she felt pictographs congregating. It is very close to the middle of the right edge of the map.
One of the gods was in the form of a god ball. She saw one of these much earlier in the day, around 4:30 AM PST (I woke up really early today).
Then it was twilight. It happened very quickly.
Then it was time to get down and do a little dance.
Such a wallflower. I found out later she was invisible to everyone and that there was a strange barn owl deer that was showing up to everyone else sitting in The Ruins. Fooled both FairyClock's Tanpopo and my partner's Vaq.
Looking to identify this
Looking to identify this lovely fawn who never showed up on The Map. Met some time before 2AM PST on March 11th. La kept him/her company until they sat down, then La sat down too and... promptly fell asleep. Whoever you were, you were precious and La would be happy to have you as a student.
Neglected to share this earlier because I lost it in the folder. This is around 4AM PST/1PM ToT Time on Mardi Gras, one of the gods in godball form. La's first time ever seeing a god. A better screen, albeit cropped, is in the first post about this.
La attended Arcus' and
When she got there, some deer were dancing in the air but a while after she arrived they fell back down and cuddle puddled. Because it was also Good Friday, the skies were pink and the lighting was lovely and bats were out flying!
The last flying dancer descended shortly thereafter.
One by one, folks ran off to dye themselves in the crying idol and run back. La was a bit late doing that but still enjoyed herself. When she got back folks were running around this purple flower patch and even though it was twilight there was a special ray of light on the wedding.
Lots of romping.
People made an Aisle to dance. There were lots of fireflies out. At one point a nameless deer ran through down the aisle, I wonder what he thought was happening? But I hope he had fun.
After forming another line, I caught this quick moment behind everyone else, when Stitches and Arcus had a moment of silence. I like to imagine they had a quick smooch here. <3
People settled down again, all red, in sight of the grave with the image of Jesus on it, which was important in Stitches' and Arcus' wedding roleplay.

Finally getting all my best
On Saturday, La was a frog and spent her time avoiding predators... she eventually saw this adorable circle of fawns together and went to join them to maybe play, since she loves fawns. The smallest one was super sweet and she played with La and then they sat together. It was really pleasant for La and it made my day. Thank you, all you fawns!
Then Easter happened. La woke up at The playground and saw the candles. Candles are new for La, in the past she's always managed to miss days when they have been out. She found them mesmerizing.
Then she tried playing with bubbles. Her first tries didn't go so well.
She went back to The Ruins, her more or less home, and found them similarly covered with candles. Who put them there? Who has the power to light them?
Did they fly?
The mother and child statues are important to La, being to her symbols of a family that she never had. She doesn't mourn the absence of a family, but when exciting things happen, she does like to share them with the statues, if only briefly.
Later she found Tanpopo and Twist by The Playground. She cares dearly for both of them and tried to trap them in bubbles. It worked with Tanpopo but Twist is always too fast.
At one point Tanpopo somehow vanished.
She came back of course, and true to form she was giggling again in no time.
Ultimately it was very relaxing and nice. Look at Twist standing at Tan's feet. Socute.
Early in May La was turned
Babies <3 La let them be after a while and fell asleep somewhere.
BUT THEN, she woke up and she was giant. Odd. La blames the glitch skull for this prank.
Where do giant birds go? In giant cages. La thought this was hilarious. I don't get the joke, personally.
Played a lot with these three people.
Later found Herla and Kio. Nested between them.
Then nested with Ben and Lem.
When Lem was gone, La preened Ben and tried to be wings for him. It didn't work.

On July 29th, Quadraptor
She ran into Poe around the ruins about fifteen minutes ahead of time and together they headed to the meeting place for the walk, which happened to be The Old Oak. Easily La's least favorite place, period. Paced around Poe anxiously on their way there, but once they got up to it and La saw the folks around there, she calmed down some. If anything bad was going to happen, she figured, all the nice people there could help protect her.
Danced to shake out her nerves. Also her first meeting with Quad in the forest. Immediately liked him and his sweet dance moves. Didn't go inside the Oak.
People piled in pretty fast, there were deer everywhere. Of course everyone rallied behind quad and he got the ball moving. La felt a lot like a bird the way they all followed him sort of forming a big V-like triangle the way that migrating geese do.
La kept going too fast, thinking about stuff. It's not easy to clear her mind when she finds comfort most in thinking about things and planning. Kept stopping to let people catch up so she could be part of the herd.
Ending the walk about an hour later. Endless Forest Deer are, I think, a jubilant people and even a long walk is something they consider worthy of celebration.

La and Vaq insisted on playing games with magic and started teaching the fawn about it.
HAHA FUCKING HA You guys are jerks. Vaq knows La hates that tree.
The fawn had a good idea of what she wanted to look like as an adult. She wanted antlers, but couldn't grow them, so she made some out of twigs.
They got sick of painting the fawn and then they fell asleep in a mushroom circle, and of course that means animal transformations.
They made Vaq a raven (he wouldn't stop until he could be a raven, that's his favorite thing ever) and hung out on a stone slab for a while.
HALLOWEENISH TIMES 2014
La met Auriea October 30th.
La was hanging out near the BZD and then felt a deific pictograph in the distance. While everyone else was distracted by the enormous dead deer, she bolted towards it and found her god. She immediately nuzzled her (are you even allowed to do that?). Apparently that's a good thing because she got a sweet flippin' Luchador mask.
So La followed her around with a few other people, crying softly and being amazed.
Auriea picked up speed and La followed, but accidentally crashed into Vala. La is sorry Vala! She didn't mean to crash into you!
She ran into The Old Oak and La was so stoked that she wasn't even scared. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me."
She turned into a ball of light.
And led everyone to the idol so they could paint themselves properly.
Look at all those gorgeous red bodies.
The god took them to De Drinkplaats and everyone god naked. La stayed with Auriea because oh my god and it seemed like the crowd had lost track of her, mostly.
La finished the day by running around with Ryff. I just love this look she gave La.

I was there too but with another of my "Secret" ones lol .
I tried to get in the way of her to get a green Luchador mask but she NEVER spelled me ...
