I really don't wanna be "that guy", but I can't help but feel uncomfortable about your name choice, because one of my characters is named Kian. :/ and besides, there already is a Cian, just so you know.
Do keep in mind that names themselves cannot be copyrighted. There are many characters with that same name. I understand where you're coming from, but just thought I'd say something.

Having the same name for multiple character could cause confusion to some people, so it's better to check how many are already running around with it before I decide if I want to use the name myself, no?

I know like three other Alisons and a bunch of Alices (same name root) but it's an easy thing to get around because just because we all have the same name it doesn't mean that we are all the same person, or that our parents did anything wrong picking the names. They went with 'em because they felt right, and if a lot of people feel like the name feels right, then it must just be a really good name that everyone is lucky to have.
