I have some really wonderful people on MSN
but they all scare me, I feel like everyone secretly hates me and wants me to never talk ever.
I'm so easily won over by sweet words. Pretty things. It may or may not be slightly pathetic.
I wish everyone ever was polyamorous like me it would make my life easier.
If you have things to say about me, say it to my face so I can stop associating with you instead of prancing around behind my back, there's nothing I hate more than people who pretend to be your friend only to talk shit when you aren't looking.
I'm grateful that some of my friends care about me enough to not only defend me, but let me know exactly who I should regret ever trying to befriend.

That's how the most people are... Especially girls.. well boys too.. I try to talk with my boyfriend seriously but he likes to just make fun of me. So I no longer feel like trusting him. I cannot trust anyone really and I talk about my thoughts with only one person on deviantart. We have known eachother for like.. 4 and a half years and I know that I can trust him. In my short life I found only one real friend and he is really far far away... Q.Q It's hard to be shy and live all alone by yourself but if it's for your own good then be it . The best thing you can do is to express yourself in a way others can understand and relate to you.
So I think you should just keep on doing what you're doing atm. Make the best of your feelings and emotions Especially if you have a gift that helps you to share this information.
Oh people also are really into judging other people to just flatter their own egos.. It's funny because they do this because they feel incomplete and also not safe about themselves. Maybe because they have no real friends too?.. Who knows, everyone has it's own reasons.. right? c:

I wonder, sometimes, if people realize just how huge an irish elk is, the size 15 beast on the size chart.
I've noticed a trend recently, people having characters 'larger than size 15'
there's an image there of a man, for comparison, and I always have to wonder if people even glance at it, if they realize the gigantic things they're creating, I know it isn't realistic to point out how much water, how much food, beasts of that size would require.
What I can point out is how ridiculous it is, as people push the sizes of their characters up, others feel the need to out-do them. Eventually it really will get silly. Moreso than it already is anyway.
It isn't a competition, you don't need to be the biggest creature in the forest to have an interesting character, and in all honesty I, personally, have a difficult time taking characters seriously once they breach the '15' mark on the size chart. And I am, admittedly, wary of the quality of characters that hit even that mark, simply because it seems to be used as a tool these days.
I 100% agree with ya! But I believe that people want to make character big because they want it to look tough and intimidating. Being small on this community now is a sign of a weak character cx.

Hm. I prefer having all of mine either "middle of the road" sized, or even small. Actually, I find small more appealing. And I don't mean Mouse deer small, I mean more like Lacie's size (she's #33 on the chart.).
The largest character I have is Salaawa, and she's number 5 (It says 15 on her bio, but I decided to change her species - again - to a Moose, which would put her back at number 5. I'm so lazy with updating, lol.). Domonique and Tobari are the smallest at number 8.
But the majority of my characters fall between number 33, and number 17 size wise. And it's primarily due to the fact that I prefer to maintain species height. All of my characters are some legit species of deer/animal/whathaveyou, and if I were to, say, have Xiu a size 17 - when in actuality, her species the Chital, is a number 34 - my brain wouldn't be able to accept that. It doesn't make sense to me in my mind.
In some cases, I can see having a larger character - especially if it correlates to a specific species (example, Irish elk characters being size 15 is perfectly fine, since that's their natural height.). However, making any character larger than 15, just...doesn't really appeal to me - the only way it would is if the character in question is a god, or a demi god of some sort, in which I can see them being larger than other inhabitants.
Long winded "speech" is long winded. And confusing. Uuugh. My brain is a mess, haha.

Do whatever the hell you want, if it bothers you so much that people choose to put their does in the position they do because yes, those characters are not yours and the players have every right to do whatever the fuck they want with them, then maybe you should enter your own doe in a dominant position.

I guarantee if someone said they didn't like how you were playing, you would tell them that you had the right to play as you pleased. Maybe you would be more polite than that, but you would.
Also as a heads up a rut is going to happen regardless of what the english speaking TEF forum does because the Russian players {and a few other small non-english-speaking forums} hold their own rut and they do not, in fact, care if you say it isn't going to happen here because they don't look at what happens on this forum.
You can complain about the rut if you have never in your life continued to do something even though you knew certain players didn't approve.

Hey, I just wanted to say, your opinion does matter and I'm also glad you put it up. The amount of bullcrap this is getting atm is quite suprising, if you ask me. A lot of things/characters are quite alright on this website, and o dare open your mouth against them. But a yearly event like this is suddenly sexist. But I better shut my mouth, haha, too biased likely.
Anyway, just wanted to say I always read your opinions/writing/watch your art, should likely express that more in the form of comments too. But I hope you never feel like it doesn't matter, because it always does, even if it's not always expressed.

I'm pretty surprised at all the flack it's getting too. I didn't think it made THAT many people upset. I do my best to try to respect everything on here, I know I'm not perfect but I really do. And I never thought the rut was a problem, always thought it was run really well, by mature people and if problems arose it was handled maturely.

I think it mostly has to do with the fact that someone actually spoke up about it. One speaks up, the rest will follow. I wasn't planning on paying attention to the blog, but then I skimmed and saw a comment that caught my attention, so I spoke. I've always found that events that everyone seems to like, tend to actually be events that a good number of people loathe - and I'm referring to in-general things, not necessarily TEF-related things.

To be fair, it wasn't about "banning it," at least not to me. It was just simply letting it die off. At the very least, the people who complained did lend in suggestions (such as making sure experienced players were running the Rut, handing in two cents on whether or not there should be a pre-Rut, etc.). It should also be noted that yes, the Russian players are holding their own Rut, and as far as I saw, nobody said to contact them and tell them not to do it. It was actually suggested that if we weren't doing the Rut, to ask the Russians to keep their own Rut to themselves.
That's how I saw it at least. Yes, the complainers, including me, were strong about their thoughts, but it's not like they were trying to completely run the place.
But again, that's my viewpoint. Hopefully I won't speak on it anymore. :/
