There's a way to keep comments anonymous (pretty much) so maybe you'd like to use that for your suggestions blog?
Also, how do you send in suggestions? A short sentence or two about why you're suggesting them or is just the name enough?

I sometimes feel like I've faded into the background here, and it's very nice to be publicly acknowledged. I did not start the LBs, but I am as dedicated to this group and as proud to be a memeber as the day I joined.

Im not 100% keen on this idea it seems like a popularity contest.
The thing is everyone deserves a thank you as all people even the trolls have helped contribute something to the communitee be it, art, stories, laughs or drama. I dont think people need to be told they are doing a good job as the jobs normaly satifying enough...... take carre anyway.
You know hornhook, I actually thought about this too at first. But if you hold that argument, you also couldn't say Thank You to a person irl because everybody deserves a Thank You for something and generally you just couldn't acknowledge anything.
I'm also a bit confused by your "I dont think people need to be told they are doing a good job" but that's a different matter.
Ah, I knew I would eventually get this kind of a comment. I would like to make things clear: no, this is not a popularity contest, as it was never meant to be one... The main idea is to thank all these people who make the community a better place, but I know some may interpret this like you do. However this is not supposed to favour some members of the community, I just want to show them that their effort is not futile.
Hm... I hope this makes sense. I hope people won't get offended. I have no bad intensions.
If it means anything... the community's acceptance and interaction with me is more than enough by itself. But being chosen for a thank you like this...
I hope many more people get to feel this loved. I hope it continues and lets people who think they may go unnoticed know that they are valued and their efforts are acknowledged by other users.
I think it also has the potential to show off efforts that may not be known by all users. I wasn't aware of all that IoRez did and thanks to this I know now.

As I've said before, sometimes I'm overwhelmed by the ever increasing popularity of TEF and the ever growing number of players and community members. It's quite easy for even "popular" players to feel completely isolated or lost in the shuffle.
That said, I can't even tell you how much this small accolade meant to me. The day I recieved it was a bad one, and I was feeling about two inches tall. It literally changed my whole day and vastly improved my attitude. If Gibbet can bring that feeling to even a few members of this community, I say more power to him/her.
Epp! i truely ment no offence. and giving people possitive feed back is a good thing. um please dont see me as the bad guy for what i said. what i mean by my comments was that when you are a great person you rarly need to be reminded of it as you know by the comments and the way people smile that your appricated. some people feel embrassed by being singled out. (so the annoamus things a good idea) Im not trying to shott you out the sky just showing another view of how this is seen. But!! I stand b my thoughts that everyone one this site is amazing.
