Ryff nibbled at his fur curiously, eyes glinting. "You're very colourful. I haven't ever seen a deer like you." She began to trot around him playfully while getting a full view of his colours.

Fog lay over the pond like a grey blanket, towering far over the willow tree under which the small red doe lay. Between her outstretched forelegs lay a flopping trout that she had speared with one of her small, dagger-like hooves.

Impact was standing with his head bowed over the water, staring intently into the depths of the pond. He stood still and silent like this for a moment before, quick as lightning his tongue shot out of his mouth and slid smoothly into the water making barely a splash. His tongue sped through the reeds before finding a fish and pulling it out of the water. Like a lizard he pulled it back to his mouth and chomped it up with tiny razor sharp teeth.

Impact licked his chops happily. Although he felt a gaze upon him, he was not too bothered about it. He leaned over the water again to catch another fish but he decided he wasn't hungry anymore, and instead turned attention to trying to find out who was watching him. Maybe he could make a new friend! He peered through the haze with flat black eyes before he spotted the golden orbs which were shining, even through all the fog, at him. He tilted his head slightly as he stared right back at what appeared to be a doe.

Impact grinned toothily at the doe who had now approached, "They must not be very observant then."

"Impact!" he puffed out his chest proudly. It was covered in long wavy tangles of white fur. "And you?"

Impact grinned again and did a little twirl, "Why thank you! You're not too bad yourself!

"The fog is fading as the days go by." Impact licked his lips and chuckled, "And I'm not too concerned about keeping hidden, why would you want to?

Impact nodded, even though he found this confusing. He preferred to at before he thought and worry about the consequences later. "Understandable... so what brings you to this neck of the forest?"

Impact shrugged, "I'll eat anything and everything, but I felt like fish today. Why, I could eat you if I wanted to., he winked cheekily. It was true, Impact would eat deer carcass if one found them lying around often.

Impact smiled more broadly than he usually did. He liked this doe, she was interesting. "Don't worry, I'd never eat you, I would spoil your pretty looks."

Impact let out a hearty laugh, "Hardly!"

"Don't poke your tongue out at me! I could probably knock you over with just a flick of my own!" he joked.

Impact stretched out his tongue and then gave Nuke a very long lick on the face, slobbering all over her, then he laughed very loudly at his own nasty trick.

Impact opened his mouth very wide as he laughed, he accidentally breathed in a leaf that was floating by and it got caught in his throat. He choked and doubled over, trying to cough it out again, looking quite comical.

Impact finally coughed out the leaf and it fluttered away. "Heheh.. silly me. Thankyou."

"Haha, of course." he found it interesting that Nuke already thought of him as a friend. "It was nice to meet you."

"Dance? Hardly! Don't make me laugh and choke again, I have four left hooves!" he watched Nuke bob side to side with amusement.

[wew...late post is incredibly late so I'mma just say they haven't seen one another in a while.]

Nuke was nibbling on a half-frozen fish by the pond, laying up to her elbows in snow. The night air was cold, yet she felt nothing thanks to her crimson pelt.
