Shaku, I had things going on around me in my living room, and was talking and distracted. I moved Herla away and sat her down because I couldn't focus on her at the moment. Usually we try to respond to Vasska IC and I wasn't doing a good job at it at all. Sorry her sitting was confusing. I probably shouldn't have moved her at all since I was essentially AFK.

Just Trolling around the community and stopped here for a rest.

Hi there! Herla met Violet or Violet met Herla. She had the Magpie pelt, Mini spell, purple flower antlers and Golden Butterfly mask. She was following Herla because Herla reminded Violet of someone she once knew. I'm sorry if she was a bit bothering.

The buck's eyes settled with a heaviness on the comatose doe. This loneliness he felt without her bright and lively, it churned up burdened feelings, feelings too subtle to decipher distinctly. That flare, which had once warmed his heart, now seared it with pain. For the time being, he forgot his shyness, laying down his issues of trust and conviction. Despite the strangers that surrounded her, the white buck gingerly settled himself beside her. With a touch that rivaled that of a mother's caress, he gently touched his nose to the doe's feathers. His eyes slowly closed, a heavy sigh slowly slipping from his mouth. They were all entangled within and without; by herd, by mate and child, by friend and foe. Though most of all by cages within cages. Such self-torture is, perhaps, the darkest cage, craving playing the part of the chains, and hatred adds the fire that tortures. Karmic retribution wraps up the rest. What chances then is there for esape?

Faustt:
The little black doe lay in a rumpled heap upon the mossy forest floor, a mind in and out of coherency, troubled by tortured dreams the evidence of which flickered across the features of her face. Her battered body held within it an equally if not more battered mind, a mind plagued by scenes of horror and death. Of loss. Of grief. She retreated from these, deeper and deeper. Retreated from the pain of her body and her soul. The whispers of dark magic still tugged at her, her soul lurching at its black touch, withering away from it. It seeped through her mind. She battled to escape it. Soft whimpers would escape her. Mutterings.

The touch of loved ones had reached her through the day. Their voices. She saw them as bright lights in a sea of darkness. She clung to these when she could…but always she was dragged back under again, to fight the darkness that roiled inside her. She couldn’t let it win.

One of the bright lights flared before her. And she recognized it. It touched her. Gently. Softly. Warm breath on her face. For a moment, the darkness fled. She ceased her endless battle and…rested. A sigh escaped her.

The little black doe looked on the younger female, a grim set to her features. “No, honey. I’m sorry. I won’t sit here,” she said, nuzzling the young doe before bounding away. She had no will to finish what she started…but mercy and forgiveness did not live in her any longer. Not for the monster.

Herla looked on the strange kirin creature that had approached her as a buck approaches a doe. She offered him a smile, “Yes, very lovely,” she said, looking side ways at him from beneath heavy lashes.

Displaying luscious shapes and vivid colors, odors and scents that cause the mouth to water, textures rough and smooth that titillate both tongue and teeth, they all crowd in demanding attention. The vegetation surrounding the log seemed so much more lush than most of the forest. He could picture the flames from years that past had reduced everything to a collection of bones, washed in colors of cherry pink and red, rose quartz, deep aquamarine, laundry white marble, among black charcoal and grey ash. Evidence of it was everywhere, despite being lush and full of life now. Everything had to die before such life was permitted. He snapped himself from his stupor as Herla stood beneath him, he felt foolish for ignoring her. "How are you feeling? Have you recovered well?"

Alinaquil:

The black doe welcomed the kirin’s company while she rested on the God’s Hill. Still assuming “him” a buck, based on his behavior. She wasn’t oft confused about these things anymore but still, sometimes it was not always clear. “Life is…well it continues,” a note of mirth in her voice that somehow reminded of tinkling bells. “How are you?” she asked politely.

Faustt:

The little doe had rested peacefully, this one of her favorite spots in the old forest, the foliage indeed lush, perfect for bedding down. And for providing a dense cover to remain obscured from the casual passerby. The white bucks pelt though shone in bright contrast to the many hues of green that surrounded her. She allowed his presence to sooth her, his vigilant countenance assuring that things where well. “You’re very kind. I am doing well, the rest is very helpful. Thank you for staying with me.”
