Look at the pretty CSS Mis made for this thing, I really love it. No new art unfortunately. Hand pretty crapped out and I'm supposed to be resting it. Or some dumb thing like that. Really hope to be making art again at some point because I misssssss it. Feel free to continue to make requests. Then I'll have something to look over when I do get back to art.

Alright well, I'm crap at resting. Pain meds ftw. Did a doodle, ha! Sovereign for Nothing2Fear. Again, a Tuhka design that I've loved from the moment I saw it. It had to be drawn! Was great human faced deer practice too.

Herla and Gehirn. Tried something new here, painted it completely on one layer, which really made for some fun and unexpected color mixing. Also first human face finger doodle, ha! Gehirn belongs to Mis. Herla is mine so yeah, selfish artz! Also just wanted to add, I just noticed these canvases are about 1/3 larger then the actual iPad screen I work on.

Gonna open up for a few of these. I may do a sketch, linework or fully painted, just depends on my muse, energy and interest. But it will all be done with my wee lillle finger on my iPad. Nothing more fancy then that. Please No human faced chars for this round. (Because I hate human faced chars. Neela the most. *punches her*. Nah, I’m just not up to it right now.) Oh yeah and please choose someone else’s char, not your own. Because sharing is caring.

So this is my blog for posting my iPad finger paintings. I use ArtRage and an iPad mini and my finger to paint these. It's a fun, loose, and free style compared to my usual more rigid art and I do it mostly to relax or when I'm not able to do art in my usual method. I do request and gifts and the occasional selfish art. Feel free to request, it's unlimited though no guarantee I'll get to them all. It's based solely on my inspiration and time.

I really like Art Rage as an

I really like Art Rage as an art program for just how well it emulates the look and feel of working with paints. Things like brush strokes. And I just use my index finger for the drawing/painting, but you can shift the canvas around and zoom in and out by using two fingers (thumb and index finger.)

Yeah, I was looking at them again and was really amazed by how much they look like paints. More than that they sometimes have that quality that mixed paints that aren't entirely mixed have where they leave streaks of their components behind with each stroke. It looks like a good program for sure.

I know you and Mis are friends but she was the first person I interacted with on this community and I would like to request any of her characters because she was so kind and really helped me get into the vibe of this place.

Sorry if that's too vague. Maybe do Verve since that's the character my Toir got to spend time with.

(Edit: Looking at that picture of Prita I think Verve's long limbs would look really neat in this style.)

These are pretty amazing. Makes me wanna try this myself. I've always liked painting with fingers, it feels so different to have this direct contact with the picture you're working on (: Though I suppose working on a digital picture may feel a little different, hehe. Very inspiring works anyway. Too bad I only have this shitty tablet that hardly works, but perhaps an innocent drawing app won't be too much?

Wow, guys, I have to say I didn’t think anyone would be much interested in these, since they aren’t my usual work, and pretty rough. So thanks so much.

@AlisonRobin, I love this program for that, the colors mix right on the canvas, makes some for lovely effects.

@Jacklo Honestly I think I’d prefer using my finger then a mouse, perhaps less carpel-tunnely? ROFL but I’m not sure. And thanks for the suggestion, that’s a lovely char, such pretty colors, I’m actually pretty excited to draw her. GOLD FTW.

@Vala, Ha thanks, yeah, a pencil is a lot easier than a finger. Gosh imagine trying to sharpen your finger! But as I told Zioomka I requested people choose characters that didn’t belong to them (and also where not human faced) but Jennie has sweetly requested Vala as well so I’ll add it to my list and if I feel I can take it on, then I’ll give it a go,

@Jennie Thank you! And yes, I’m enjoying how much this looks and feels like traditional art, especially nice though because I don’t have to actually take a bunch of oil paints into bed with me to get to paint with them.

Aww, hoactzin, that’s so very sweet too, and of course I’m pretty partial to Verve myself, she’s always a joy to draw so I’ll add her to the list, and we’ll see how it goes!

I don’t mind a big list at this point because I’ll be doing them as I feel inspired, they won’t be in order or maybe not even all finished. It’s for fun! Wow Sight these are AMAZING! I love the texture you're giving each and every one (and I don't mean the brush strokes since that's part of Artrage) but your actual texture you, as the artist, give your work. I wish I were this creative, but maybe they have this app for android, since I have a Nexus, not a iPad xD I can't wait to see the others you're going to paint!

I really do hope you feel better T.T I know you've been going through being sick...but I am glad you have an outlet for your art!

@SoliloquyChryseis, thank you very much, this has indeed been so very nice to be able to do this when stuck in bed, I resent so much being kept from the things I love, and truthfully, I’m more willing to let myself rest now when I need to because I get to take my books and my drawing with me ha. Technology is fantastic. The human condition will never stop being the human condition. Nice to have things that help us along.

And unfortunately they don’t have ArtRage for android/non apple tablets. But another friend was looking for something she could use on her kindle and we found SketchBookPro. I haven’t worked with it as extensively but it does seem to have nice lines and also has layers abilities. Seems promising. Think that’s what DistractedLemon is using as well to make their (super godamn amazing) sketches on their iPad.

WOW. Lilu looks FANTASTIC! I love how you painted her, and I cannot stop staring at her tail feathers. I'm trying to figure out how you did the lights and darks, because I really didn't think an art program for the iPad could so something like this o.o this is really amazing, and I know Lost will LOVE it!

I think I have heard of it, but I don't think I have used it. Maybe but not sure haha.
