Inspired by Scythe, Kaoori, and other people. This is basically a listing of all my deer and a short description, with bio, ref, and picto links. I already have an updates blog, but I am doing this mainly for my deer that I don't, or rarely, play in-forest. I decided they don't really need bios, but I'd still like people to know about them and be able to recognize them.













Amary
Amarynthia Elaphea/"Ama"

An energetic, friendly, and kind doe who is easy to get along with and always puts others before herself. Amary loves to dance and play, but also enjoys sitting quietly with her friends. She is in love with Bastilion, though she has yet to tell him.

Oisín

Oisín, or "Sheen" for short, is a kindhearted, gentle buck. Though he is usually quiet, he will open up and play around with friends. He used to be human, a wizard, but got stuck in a deer transformation spell, somehow ending up in the forest without any memory as to how he got there. Oisín was my third deer, but is the second most active. His adoptive parents are Scape and Zergarikiaka. He is mated to Celeste, though she has been missing for a while.



Melinoe

Melinoe was the second deer I created, based on and named after a figure of Greek mythology. Similar to her mythological counterpart, she has ties with the dead, spirits, and the spirit world/underworld, with the ability to sense spirits and other things paranormal. Being anti-social, she is not easy to get along with. She prefers the company of the dead/undead over that of the living. Melinoe's partner is Janjaweed, but she refuses to call him a mate.


Hope

Hope is one of the four sons of Revtheyr, he is perhaps the most like his father out of the four brothers, and was very close to Rev while he was growing up. Hope is a gentle, quiet buck, and a little shy. Like his father and brothers, he has a human form, but he doesn't use it very often, preferring to stay in the form he was born in.


Phoenix

Phoenix is the daughter of Saiyko and Garth, and the twin sister of Altair (who is missing). Much like her mother, she is rather timid and a bit skittish, more than a little nervous around those she doesn't know. Once she warms up to someone, however, she is a loyal friend, if a bit clingy. Nix is particularly close to her father, whom she clings to more than anyone else. She has also grown close to Gustiro, who offers a similar sense of protection that her father does.



Dardaptos

Dardaptos is my first "evil" characters, although really he's only "semi-evil." He is not a deer, though his species resembles a mix of deer and bird. Like other perytons, he eats humans, but is generally not a threat to deer, having no reason to attack them unless provoked. But he does like to frighten others, having tendencies towards sadism/schadenfreude. Dar usually wears a human skull on his head as a "mask", having several that he keeps as "trophies" or "souvenirs" from his victims, but sometimes he will take it off.

Shamira

Also not actually a deer, Shamira is my second character based off a mythological creature. She is actually genderless, but considered female. As a yale, she is more antelope-like than deer-like, with horns that can swivel in any direction at will. Shamira is protective and motherly of everyone, always watching and guarding. She is strong-willed, but also kind, gentle, and friendly. As a new character, Shamira is still barely developed.



Andras

A deer version of one of my fantasy OC's. In his original form, Andras is a semi-immortal winged humanoid. He is blind as a result of an injury, but has developed a new "sense" to help him navigate, allowing him to know where things are. He has some special abilities as well, but they are not very well defined. Being very outgoing, highly energetic, and often spontaneous, Andras' actions can often seem random. He may even come off as a bit strange to some. He is very promiscuous and will flirt with just about anyone, regardless of gender, and is highly unlikely to settle down with anyone. He doesn't like to commit to anything, not just in relationships. He does care a lot about others, but he doesn't like to show or admit it.


Maera
Maera Leta Cole/"Mae"

Maera is a deer version of an old fantasy OC of mine. In her original form, she is a human/demon hybrid. She hates demons. She is bitter, temperamental and misanthropic, with violent tendencies. However, much of this is really a cover for her many issues and insecurities, which she has developed as a result of her experiences throughout her life. She has a soft spot for children/fawns, though she refuses to admit it. Being half demon, Maera's strength greatly surpasses that of any normal human...or deer, in the case of TEF. She also heals extremely quickly, and possesses enhanced senses and reflexes, as well as the ability to see clearly in the dark.


Rhianna

A deer version of an old fantasy OC of mine. In her original form, Rhianna is a human/elf hybrid. She is insecure and has social anxiety, meaning that she is very timid and skittish, even somewhat fearful when it comes to meeting someone new. Crowds frighten her. If startled, or if she feels threatened, she may flee. Befriending her requires patience, but once her trust is gained, she is strongly loyal. She is very kind and gentle, caring a great deal about others, often to the point of ignoring her own needs. Rhianna has some minor healing powers as well as some knowledge of the use of herbs as remedies. She is also a talented singer and loves music.


Charles Xavier
Charles Francis Xavier/"Professor X"

Based on Charles Xavier from the movie X-Men: First Class, a younger version of the man who will later come to be known as Professor X, before the founding of the X-Men. Charles doesn't know how he came to be in the forest, but he finds everything here to be fascinating, and is intensely curious, always wanting to know more. It also seems the magic of the forest has restored his ability to walk, though he still has trouble with his lower back and rear legs. A powerful telepath, Charles is capable of reading minds (meaning he can know things about deer he's just met that he otherwise couldn't know), among many other things.
